Suarez has done more damage to your club than any manager over the years, defending him just plunged the club to a new low IMHO.
And in his first season away from Newcastle he wins more trophies(1)than any player that's wore an NUFC shirt for the last 50 years.
The problem with Carrol is that to play to his strengths you have to base your whole team around him but what do you do if hes injured?? He is so ridiculously good in the air lol
How many points behind us?? lol .......winning a cup nobody else cares about hasn't saved your season and you bloody know it! lol
Why would I be banned??? Also.... When I start some banter with the scousers on here I have a little egg timer on my desk set for 2 minutes...... it never gets to the end before one of your lot bring up past tropies or bang on about european cups. ****ing priceless!
yeah... Have fun trying to replace your aging squad in the summer and trying to find mugs for your failed signings
Can we at least stay on topic? Slagging each other off isn't exactly making fair points. This goes for everyone
I dont agree.. If teams come in with Silly money bids for any of the lads of course we will sell. We have been mis-labelled a selling club because we accepted your offer for Carrol but when you look at the deal now its a nice bit of business. Are Liverpool a selling club because you bowed down to Chelsea? I would only be worried about any of our top talent if Man City or Chelsea came in for them, no body else has the financial clout to push a big transfer. Mike Ashley has saved the club, he has turned a money pit into a profitable business which is more than I can say for the Liverpool owners! Did you announce £50m losses at the weekend??? FFP rules coming in ??? We made a £32m profit this season.
To get back on-topic..... Dalglish is killing your club and the board dont have the balls to sack him
You bring up an important point here. The amount of money in the game has destroyed the attitude amongst players. So many are simply mercenaries who have no real affinity for the club they play for. They are incredibly rich, whether they play well or not, and if their team isn't playing well they can engineer a move and just blame the rest of the team for not being good enough for them (Torres, for instance) without understanding their own responsibility for the teams performance. There just isn't enough to motivate them. It is the manager's job to do this, but faced with an array of egos far bigger than his own, he has a mammoth task to impose his own way. Fergie is undoubtedly the best at this in the modern era- as a 'Pool fan I obviously hate him, but there's no doubt in my mind that his success is due to the fact that he won't take any **** from anyone, and everyone knows that he's in charge. I doubt that many others have the strength of character to deal with the modern spoilt brat footballer and his over- inflated ego.
Would you consider Suarez easy to handle?? I obviously dont know the guy personally but I do know football. Everytime I see him play hes constantly moaning and berating his teams mates. I see Bellamy doing the same thing to the younger players in your team and I often wonder what the team spirit is like at the club?? I couldn't play with Bellamy or Torres I'd end up belting them after a few days.
