Cash blow for League clubs Football League clubs hoping for a windfall if – as now seems likely – either Birmingham, Blackpool or West Ham forfeit £32m of parachute payments by winning promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt, will be disappointed. Under the agreement in place until 2010 all that money would have been redistributed to the other League clubs, offering each a handy six-figure sum. The new agreement does not allow for such largesse, on the basis that it was considered better for clubs to know exactly what their income would be rather than waiting for promotion and play-off outcomes. shame!

yes i know he did but we are talking about now at his age and the fact he has been playing lower league for a number of years. i said that he is the only cardiff player who could make the step up and because of his age then this next season may be his last chance. he wants a chance and was hoping it will be with cardiff but that chance has gone yet again and i think whoever offers him a chance now will get him...Im not keen on £3 million for him though and cant see anyone payng that much for him...
Yep Swim - fair play to Dragon, he did credit me for the poster and am glad he has had so much fun with it - posted it the other day to advertise the fanzine, then turn up today and find that the little scamp has used it to taunt the Bluebirds - no worries about that, but the bloody thing has gone viral on twitter and I have now become public enemy number one in the eyes of the Legoland dwellers! Aah well - is all good publicity - am thinking of employing Dragon as my PR man - Max Clifford eat your heart out!!!
