So Siam deletes my post because I pointed out that West Ham are actually worse than Blackburn. Then only 'allows' posts from Jacks that are not controversial. This from the same mod that spends half his time on our board whinging about free speech and how aber shouldn't have been banned. 'Hypocrite' doesn't do you justice. Shame on you.

There are still some prolific goalscorers and some pacy wingers in the bottom two leagues. I hope we have the vision to try and acquire one or two of them. Siam. Yes, Boyd has become quite a hero at London Road, and to my my mind he could do well for us. However, I get the impression that he's looking for a move to a Prem club and is also unhappy regarding the wage he's been offered by Posh. I think he will go before the new season as Posh have got that guy from Crawley who moved seemlessly into the Championship.
He stated on the match thread that this board was for Cardiff posters or serious posts? I don't understand your problem now or what is pathetic. Please check your PM.
this thread was intended to be for CARDIFF fans on the CARDIFF forum to discuss CARDIFF city. i stated that reasonable comments from swansea fans were to be accepted, and that wums would be deleted. you ignored this and posted it anyway to get some kicks. now clear off and report your findings back to HQ or go onto the banter thread. i have now stopped posting on your board as you dont accept even the slightest criticism about your club, fair enough, i now understand this and have stopped posting.
I remember coming on here pre-season and most were not even expecting the play offs. MM rebuilt the club and it seems you just run out of steam at the end. When emotions die down, I'm sure you will be happier this summer, compared to how you felt this time last year.
True enough siam, and maybe that lack of pace may temper our interest in him. Just reading on the Leicester board that they regard us as being in the running for Vardy. Has anyone heard anything?
Hi swimaway. Fair comments and you're quite right about us exceeding expectation. However, we did get there, and failing for a third successive season does hurt. Some serious business to be done in the summer, both in and out. That was MM's honeymoon period, now he has to show his mettle. Congrats on your season.
Thanx in return. It seems bizarre that there was a lack of investment in transfers and the loan market after xmas to just give the extra push required (again). You don't have to change the whole squad, but just pick the right player and the right position to push on. ie Lansbury for Norwich last year, Borini for us, Jason Roberts for Reading... the list goes on. It doesn't need a rocket scienctist as to why you have run out of steam the last couple of years.
Well, I'm very happy how things turned out of course would have loved to get promoted but the way things were not so long ago, 6th & a cup final ? There has been talk for a while the our owners are going to pay people off and will take full control for me I would be happy with that for next season. Thanks to Malky & the boys for another great year with more wins than losses.
Would like far more information about their goals, plans, and such if they were going to take over full control. I have no reason to doubt them at this point, but I am wary of businessmen as owners in general. So far, they have been excellent, but the full 100%. It may well be the only way to move forward. But again FFP will determine what we can spend anyway, not the owners. I don't think we will ever get consulted anyway
Another factor that seems to be forgotten is the sheer volume of games played this season by Cardiff. That along with a smaller squad hasn't been of any of help to you. I'm also surprised that you're not making more of an issue of the penalty shout today when it was 0-0. When I first saw it I thought it was a penalty and nothing since has changed my mind, if I was the ref I would have given it. When you look back at the two games then a 5-0 aggregate score is harsh. Yes I do think West Ham were the better team, as all your posters think too but the score does flatter and don't forget the advantages they had, eg. big squad, finances and being fresher. Next season will I believe see a stronger Cardiff team, the players will have been together as a unit for a season already and the manager will be able to strengthen in the summer and also have the time to work with and coach the existing ones. From what I can see he's obviously been doing a lot of hard graft on the training field as from what I've seen this season you seem to be very well organised. Today you got done by two outstanding goals and the 1st came from one hell of a vicious corner that was virtually impossible to defend. All that happened is that you just ran out of steam, but overall there's a lot more positives than negatives to take out of the season.
Having read the OP from the start i have to say that the Bloobs on here are not totally deluded.. That is all
Add Quinn to that list has done little wrong but not featured much so i would say he's not in our plans either oh and sorry to see it but Heaton too.
Hard luck today lads - but I think we can all agree you have had a great season, disappointing in the end but plenty to build on for the future - really impressed with MM this year, has come across as a really genuine and decent guy and has done a brilliant job in his first season in charge. He has got you playing as a team and if he can continue the good work next season I think you will be a force to be reckoned with. Know am repeating what Dilli has said above, but wanted to come on here and offer my commiserations. Good luck for next season!
Cheers to all the Swansea City Fans for the comments. The one thing that makes this season's disappointment a lot easier to take is that we have achieved way more than we expected and have won allot off plaudits for the team effort and the fighting spirit this year. Look at the Cup final ok we lost but we did it with far more pride and passion than we expected and we won over some tough critics in the process not just professional ones but fans on threads like this as well. The way we made it into the playoff when in recent years we would have just faded away and again fans wishing us well saying things like "Good luck this year you lot deserve it". Ok we fallen short but it has been once again a roller coaster ride off a season but for me personally this season even with the playoff defeat one I have enjoyed riding and got off still smiling. Every thing this year has felt so different and fresh it has been nice and I think we can look forward to next season not with pressure and expectancy but grit determination and confidence.
Well said Hilts It has been a good season once again for you and I know most of you were not expecting even a top 8 finish, possibly myself included but like most of you I hoped for better. I am not going to go in to depth about where you need to change things in the summer as I have not seen many of your games, and therefor not in the best place to judge BUT from the outside looking in there is one thing that stands out to me, and I have said this before this season - you need a 18-25 goals striker! Even if the midfield provided more and better service I do not think you have the strikers to convert that many chances. Miller was good enough a few years ago but I do not think he is now or will be again, same goes for Rob Earnshaw. Where you are going to find such a player I do not know as it is likely to cost £2m + to buy one even from League 1. Get a consistent goal scorer and you will be at least half way to addressing what needs to be addressed. Over the summer I will still drop in to say hello to you Bluebirds supporters of course but in the meantime I wish you all a great summer free of stress that the other 9 months provide
