"whits is about the only player that looks that he may make the step up and even he is leaving it late in his career" He's 27.
No one in that team would improve our squad .men against boys over the two games .DJ had the best chance last year to go up based on their squad .What happens now to them will be interesting (if any one is interested) , a few players need to be added just to keep pace with the league. How any one can say that the three relegated from the Premiership are no threat to cardiff are delusional but thats their problem not ours and long may it be that way
Well they couldn't do it with 8 loanees - 7 of whom were from the Prem - so this year was a non-starter imo.

Congratulations are in order...congratulations to Cardiff on another successful campaign in their annual battle against promotion.
MM quoted on 24/3/12.... "There are a lot of teams going to be involved and results which are raising eyebrows," said Cardiff boss Malky Mackay. "Six or seven teams are desperately looking for consistency and we're all in the same boat." MM quoted on 13/3/12 .... But boss Malky Mackay said: ‘I trust the group. We have a small squad and there is a core but the reason is they are the guys who are consistent.’ MM quoted on 22/1/12 ..... "The fans were hurt when Swansea were promoted last season because of the rivalry......We must stay consistent and with 10 games left that's when it becomes a test of character." Well he has delivered the same consistant result as last year, the year before, the year before ....
what is so ironic is that Dave jones did not bottle it. he actually showed bottle coming from behind and snatching auto's from sheff utd after it was sheff utd's autos to lose..
thats what im saying kangaroo. he is not young to have his first crack at premiership football. his legs will not be the same as a younger player at his age, good player and the only one to come out of cardiff that is any good. brendan has been to watch him a few times....
I'm not keen, but you never know. He can strike a ball for sure. But so can Dobbie last time I looked.
Im not sure about him TBH, i havent noticed how good his touch is the only thing i see of him is having a lash from 25yrds and sometimes scoring, i can never remember the guy doing his share of the dirty work, if he is of that ilk then he is no good to us, even Gylfi gets stuck in and works his socks off , anyway, why give cardiff 2-3m quid to pay off their next HMRC fine? if we wait long enough a cheeky 500k bid will secure him and we can throw him in the reserves just to spite the bloobs...
