.... with the Prem no longer a possibility for the Bluebirds next season and with us already being touted as likely pre-season favourites, I think we will definitely now have the edge in terms of Vardy's potential suitors.....

But will they now have the money to compete with us? If Nigel really thinks Vardy is the real deal he might go just that little bit further for him

Cardiff were absolutely appalling. Worst playoff performance I've ever seen.

Yes we did fail but that was mainly Sven's and players ego's fault.

Non of which will be here next season. Nigel will be building us a squad of young hungry players like Ben Marshall, Danny Drinkwater, Jeff Schlupp, Harry Panayiotou. Add that to the experience of Schmeichel, Nugent, Morgan then we do have a base to build on.

Something we didnt have this time last year.

As for Cardiff we have played them 3 times this season and they have been poor in all 3 and lucky to take anything from us. But they have proven over the season they are still a decent team

Swans and Norwich is the way to go - you are quite right. We need a real team ethic, and if you are able to read a lot of the posts on our site you will see that we understand that. Nigel Pearson also understands that and will clear out the players who dont fit in with that ethic, and will buy and loan the players that do. Good luck next season bluebird - oh and by the way, suggest you guys do the same cos you were dire in the playoffs

Bluebirds - there isn't really any argument here with what you say - for the record I thought your boys were excellent in the Carling Cup final and if Kenny Miller had not put that late chance over the bar when it was easier to score you would have been in Europe - but I think that was the problem - blew your big pay day then slumped.

We never really got going all season - our FA cup run typified our season - we showed in the FA cup tie at Norwich that we could play a bit but Nigel than committed tactical suicide against Chelsea - just the same in the league - no consistency.

I expect us to be a lot better next season because NP will have shipped out all those that think they know better than he does - i.e "we were signed by a manager with an international and European success pedigree who knows far more than you, a mediocre cenrtre-half whose career highlight was a losers medal in a cup final" - not going to name names as we all know which players fit that bill.

The bookies don't often get it that wrong and I do expect us to be challenging for top 6 next season.

Good luck to you guys - apart from us going up the Swans against the Bluebirds in the Prem would be good for Wales and, in my opinion, for the whole of the UK.

Leicester pre-season favourites ? FFS,, thats what they said this season. Cardiff will have money to spend this summer as the likes of Whittingham and Hudson may well move on to the PL. imo.

It's quite clear that someone was drowning their sorrows last night and thought they'd have a rant at us to make them feel better.
