I think the administrator recently indicated that the money will run out by the end of June is there is no change. With the Football League AGM on 2nd June it could be curtains for us - literally.
AFC Pompey would inevitably rise from the ashes, hopefully some where between Conference South and Southern League Division One South and West!

Screwing the creditors is a fair enough comment. To exit admin we will need a CVA (for which one of the creditors is the current CVA that the club has defaulted on in Greek style). That means that old creditors will be forced to accept a percentage of the percentage they agreed last time!

All things said, I think the original administrators and the hands in which they left the club have a lot to answer for.

    C'est la vie - it's only money <whistle>

Man, that is so ****ed up. I really can't imagine how i would feel if we were looking at becoming a piece of history instead of a piece of the future. It also serves as a reminder to us why we are not throwing money around anymore. We could have been Pompey 12 months ago!

Hope you fans stick to it, and if you get through this just accept a slow rise back up the leagues. Better to have a League 2 club if need be than no club.

    Fingers crossed for you guys.

Thanks guys, I also think both the Premier League and the Football League carry a lot of blame with their 'Fit & Proper Persons Test' which is quite clearly a complete farce ,as evidenced by my sons pet lizard passing it just this week as a prospective new owner of Pompey..........(maybe they thought it was Gordon Gecko?)....................<whistle>

Singing, have a word with Draggon Phil. He'll explain to you how screwing creditors leads to success.

I still find it incredible that a football club with a heritage like Pompey can be treated with such scant regard. These owners sell themselves as knights in shining armour but they're just in it for themselves, and when they find out there's not a quick route to be a mega club, they're gone. They just don't get the importance of a football club to a community, or the history of a club, or more probably, they do get it it, but don't care.

As mentioned earlier, there must be something severely wrong with criteria laid down to become a club owner. The FA are as culpable as anyone in these sad states of affairs.

    Good luck Pompey.

Why is it always the fans who lose out? Pompey are a good lot.

it must have been horrible for their club to be treated like **** and passed around from crook to crook. that gaydamak guy acts like he's got ambitions for the club but funds it through loans, which could be recalled at any time, even if the money wasnt there. as it happens he made a complete mess and was running the club without any common sense.

absolutely scandalous, all of those crooks should be banned from ever owning a club in this system again.

for their fans i hope the fans get control of their club and run it in their interests, and pay off the people who are owed money.

What money's that then. Do we owe him anything. He fits the profile of a Portsmouth owner.

scumbag sam hamman, didnt he hold the club to ransom just to get a few extra hundred grand when we were in trouble?

if so **** him, he's not an owner, just a glorified bank lending out money to get more back...
