First of all i have given up on the title but let's just say QPR get something at the Eithad Stadium, this would be our best title win since the manager's been in charge.
lets be realistic here matth, do you see QPR who are struggling picking up a point vs City? it is over im afraid, we have to look for next season to bounce back like we always do
I know, like said in my op, i have given up on it, but you never know in football. oh well roll on the summer.
Well QPR have recently beaten Spuds, Liverpool and Arsenal although they were home games. Maybe if they stick 11 behind the ball and defend like hero's for 90 minutes they might scrape a draw. Its not bloody likely though.
It would have to be total anti-football. Like chavs at the Neu Camp. Set of 11 attacking a set of 11 in one half of the pitch. Could/would Hughes attempt it? Is staying in the premiership worth it? Can't see anything but a city win myself. But clinging at straws I have read some pundits saying that in the weirdest of seasons this specific result won't be that huge a shock!
I don't think we'll win at Sunderland anyway. Too many **** performances this season and too much complaceny.
No. Nor would losing an eight point lead and getting lucky on the last day be our best title. The "anything can happen in football" comments remind me of two years ago. When Chelsea had to drop points at home to Wigan for us to win the title. They won 8-0.
Dont write QPR off. If we get our act together as we have done at home over the last couple of months and the fact for the first time for ages away from home we will be at full strength i see no reason why we cant go there and get at least a point. To many people judge us on that recent hammering at Chelsea but remember Chelsea were on a high having just knocked Barcelona out of the European Cup. QPR are always at there best when people write them of and if Sunderland can get a result at Man City then so can we.
I just know that Tevez will take a dive aka Ashley Young style and Man City wil win 1-0 from a penalty unfortunately to deny you the title. I hope im wrong but just wait and see. Our fate will depend on Stoke delaying their holiday a week and getting at least a point against Bolton but normally the last day of the season the team normally needing the points gets them.
It could happen but it most likely wont, either way i will be paying a lot of attention to the City game and just praying they miss all their chances!
City failing to beat QPR while United drop 8 from 12 in the last 6 games, greatest league win if you did, not by a mile. United's best season was probably the one where they gained most points or goals scored in a season. That would make sense or the 2009 win to catch Liverpool with a few games left to take 18, that would be in with a shout would it not? If it was chelsea or arsenal or even if CIty were away, a chance, but they are not current arsenal or chelsea, tey are far better and by far played the best football this season. They will put away QPR if City turn up, IF They have players though that can ahadle pressure and that have won titles and played in the CL and I think that helps
