Anyone else having a **** one?

'Piss up in a brewery' comes to mind.

    I'm mightily pissed off.

Looking forward to a nice bit of social on the sauce I was, then it all fell apart and I just feel disappointed. You can't rely on people to come good, can you?

So I'm stuck in. Oh well, MOTD later.

I have beers here, so Party Hull will make the best of it.

im having a rock and roll one myself, just watching the snooker, then when thats finished ive got Columbo lined up on the old sky plus, might even push the boat out and open that packet of cherry bakewells ive got in the fridge!...

i blame tropical nights, if they hadnt got caught serving 14 year olds over and over again, they wouldnt have got shut down and marina wouldnt have folded and id be there now staggering around with the best of them!

    Tropical Nights...blast from the past.

Unfortunately a lot of people that were up for a night/day out on the booze declined in the end. Shame.

You always get left with a couple of options that you could take up if you're REALLY desperate (people you don't really wanna socialise with) but I'm not 18 anymore. Sometimes you gotta accept defeat.

I've spent the day writing software to be used in the Humber Bridge toll system.

    That's how I roll.

Wow, not just downloading off itunes?

Well, you show dedication to the cause.

I am glad that you lot have not had partiful days either. It reassures me. Though, definitely, it was an opportunity missed.

I might try to be productive in the morning. Get up at a decent time, have a shave and head to the gym...but I'd much rather be restless in bed with a stonking hangover.

    Meh.

ive only just got into that downloading malarky, sometimes theres no substitute for a proper cd, with the album cover etc, it just feels right...
funnily enough i was also thinking of the gym, tho last time i planned that on tuesday after work, i forgot my gymbag so went to mcdonalds instead ...

    Very much counter productive then!

I didn't even know Keane had unleashed another hour's worth of 'music' on us. I hope you enjoy it, I really do. I would never begrudge another man's happiness.

It's just that I hate them, and find it hard to conceal that.

I'm trying to be diplomatic here...

    I went down Prinny Ave.

Hated every second more or less.

The only reason I go down there these days is to see my old mate who works out in Afghanistan
He lives down Princes Ave and loves it. I don't and I hate it.
Once a year is enough for this old dog.

Only saving grace was the donner I've just eaten whilst wearing nothing but my underpants.

I'm still hungry though and rather drunk.

    Great work.

Prinny Ave is where I was due to be, before plans fell apart.

I don't like it if I'm honest, especially on a bank holiday when it's totally rammed. But I was up for a day on the booze yesterday, so a bit pissed off.

What is it you hate about it?
I hate the fact they arent proper pubs, just little holes in the wall, no character at all.

What do I hate about it?

It was that rammed in some of the 'pubs' it was reminiscent of Pepi's ten years ago, which is not good.

It was also the first time I've nearly been involved in a scrap down there, which was through no fault of my own. A bunch of lads got all Danny Dyer ( wannabe hard men) when I accidentally bumped into one of 'em.
'Watch it silly ****' and 'This silly **** got a problem?' was said to me after I was shoved by some bird into the back of one these clowns.
This was despite the fact I'd apologised.

    I can do without that.

Just like I can do without blokes pissing in sinks in the gents.

Old slappers in the blokes toilets.

Pissed up arseholes scrapping with bouncers.

    **** draught beer.

    Over priced beer.

    Characterless bars.

Overall the place is on the slide if you ask me.
The clientele has been changing for some time and last night confirmed what I've been thinking for some time.

Like I said I put up with it to see my mate once a year. He's a good lad and is a handy bloke to have around if it goes south.
Just as those tits who wanted a pop found out.

Village pub has beer festival & hog roast. Not a difficult decision to make.

I bought a scuba dive computer on Saturday. No where warm enough to try it out!! It's like having a fishing rod in the desert.
