Hi Pompey fans. Please feel free to add your thoughts to the match article I've created on the Reading board using the link below. Cheers! http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/38780-Reading-V-Portsmouth-Match-preview
Tilehurst - if you have the upmarket WAITROSE on the front of your shirts, why haven't Saints got LIDL or ALDI on theirs ? I just can't get my head round it...............
One of the great mysteries of life that one Duck! Love the Avatar btw! You a big fan of the small Rouge one?
Cos we dont need a sponsor this season as we have money!!! ããããããããããããããã
Hi Tilehurst, yes I enjoy their humour - at least they are re running some of the old episodes at the moment.
Toasty's the name, toasting's the game. My favourite line from RD. I like to shop in Southsea Waitrose, the only place in town, that sells Guarana. I'm addicted to that stuff.
Hello hello, what's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here! I think my DVD collection mirrors yours, WD!
There were so many really well thought out characters on that show. If I had to choose a fave, it would be the take of "On the waterfront" with Pop and his two sons talking about booths and kiosks. 9 Maverick bars.
"You had 3 Maverick bars stolen ?..............you're no son of mine........." Who can ever forget Pauline's pens, or Barbara the taxi driver ?!
one of the best bits of LofG was when Tubbs filled up the car with her own "personal" petrol supply. - truly horrid!
True olddellboy ! The acting was so good, it was easy to believe that it WAS a woman playing the part.
Is that Steve Pemberton? He is Pauline too. "The Big Issue, it's a bit like Bunty, but written by tramps!" Genius.
Hi pm ! He is brilliant in Benidorm too. Never heard of him pre 'League of Gentleman', but his career has certainly taken off since then. The other guy - Reece Shearsmith - has also been on the telly a fair bit since the series ended.
And Mark Gatiss too, he was BRILLIANT as Cavor, in the BBC "First men in the moon" production of H.G. Wells masterpiece, recently. He captured the zuzzooing noise exactly how I imagined it to be, when I read the book as a lad.
