While I have some sympathy for your position because there are certain posters that only turn up to criticise a bad performance it gets lost in your aggression.

I too think their position is misguided but only time will tell who is correct & even then the continuance of the Rafa debate shows it will probably go on well after we've either succeeded under KD or he's removed.

I too dislike how a lot of threads seem to be twisted into Kenny out rallies.

There has to be a tolerance for both opinions however. I have heavily criticized SOME in the anti Kenny brigade for continuously stating we are deluded or our heads are up our backside because we wish to continue to support him. To be balanced I have to say you are wrong for calling fellow fans names (I've been guilty of this myself in the heat of the moment & retract or apologise once I've calmed down) or worse accusing them of not really being fans at all.

You probably don't give a stuff about what I've said above & that's ok too. But we've bad enough times dealing with WUMs to be fighting with each other.

One way or another there will be better times for us LFC fans in the future.

    :)

I can accept that, take it out on me, and leave the team alone.

Can I ask, have you ever sang "You'll never walk alone"? And have you ever meant it? Well there is a shed load of hypocrisy going on, by so called fans, because there are more people on here wanting to dismantle everything and to tell the manager and half his team to get lost. Doesn't quite sit with what our club's fans claim to be all about.

Frank, you speak with the rationality, I wish I was still capable of. Maybe I need to give this forum a break. Every time I come on, the red mist just descends. :(

Loud and proud at the Carling cup final <ok> As it happens I'm not desperate for Kenny to get the boot in the summer, im not too bothered either way. I don't think it was the right decision to give him the job full time which would be why I wouldn't be distraught if he left but on the other hand, only a year and a bit would be very harsh. What I don't like is your attacks on people who's opinions differ with yours, you think criticism is not acceptable, some people think it is, don't attack them for it. You just come across as as an aggressive and dislikeable person to be honest and that's just going to make people take less and less notice of what you have to say.

Noble; I can see you are passionate about the club. And I can sympathies with accepting praise over fault; and seeing the amount of negative comments on the forum after each bad game could be frustrating especially because some still think we are in a redevelopment stage. I understand that you are asking for patience and I completely agree: Liverpool fans should stand by our team and manager and this has been the key to success in the past!

However I am a skeptic.. And I think you fail to see where some of us are coming from:

Do not get us wrong! most of us "plastic supporters" who criticize the side i believe are loyal supporters and the majority of us i presume have supported Liverpool throughout our whole lives. I would never walk out on my team. Though I complain about players (sometimes the manager) on the board, I would never stop chanting and I would never stop trying to urge the team on.

In all fairness, we speak out to try and discuss what can be done to move forward! We want Liverpool to win the championship! Not compete for the top 4! Although I respect patience is needed and the lack of this may frustrate you; we have to stay grounded and compare where we are now to where we were last season (the start of our redevelopment). Arguably this pressure is not helping the team, however this pressure is what made Liverpool successful in the past! We were always craving to be at the top no matter what!

A couple of weeks back I felt the same, it seemed like all I was reading was negativity, on here, twitter every pundit & nobody player who never played for us & it does get you down but you gotta just think that behind that negativity (on here at least) are people who deeply care about the club otherwise why would they bother? They just display that passion differently & have different ideas as to what is needed.

I have to say this is the first time I wanted a season over already.

I find being vicious to a WUM now & then exorcises the anger! And let's face it the f*cking ask for it.

As I say, after weeks and weeks, if not months and months of it, I just see red from the get go now. It's like Alcoholics who can get pissed on one drink because they already have so much of it in their system.

Very fair comments. The thing that annoys me, is there is nothing we can really do until the transfer window opens again, so I really fail to see the reason why people reach new levels of frustration. We had our hand dealt to us in August of last year, and for reasons unknown by us, we did not refresh the deck in January, so everyone should comprehend that the season is a write off, and yet so many people think each fresh failure is a reason to redouble their efforts to demand change. Why can't people comprehend the simple fact that nothing can be done until the 1st of July?

I like your idea about discussing things that people feel would make a difference, that would be refreshing. Instead of "Kenny should go", does anyone care to suggest who should come in, and why? So many people want Rafa back, but didn't he make just as big a mess as Kenny has done this year? Oh, what's that you say? That was more the fault of G&H? My word, that was no the opinion of the baying masses at the time. Hindsight you say?

Would people be as pissed with Kenny and the team, if Camolli had not thought of a number and quadrupled it, while making a right mess of negotiations? If we had spent about half what we did on these players, would that have been OK? I can debate lots of things, but when people come on saying A,B & C have to go! there is no debate.

Again I think this is fair enough; And I can see how comments like: "Kenny must go" can be seen as very frustrating due to:

    A) No reasoning for such a statement

    B) They are written by (sorry everyone) absolute nobodies with little football managing experience; who would probably ruin Liverpool FC if they had it there way!

Another thing to mention is: (pardon the expression) "slightly more experienced" fans would see such comments as pretty disrespectful, taking to account:

    A) Kennys background (I think we have more respect for the man after what he has done that too spit on him and chuck him out after 1 season, don't you?)

    B) The fact that Liverpool fans should stand behind our manager (YNWA!!!).

However Oddly enough I actually relish seeing such comments! I know it is strange to say this, but i feel this is what makes us a bigger side than say other clubs close to our position in the league. We strive for the best and we are all worries if something is not going well! So too be honest I often take such statement with a pinch of salt. I suspect people have a reason for what they believe anyways! Although I agree it is irritating for not specifying the reason when they post!

    My beliefs
Looking back at your post you asked for reasoning; and asked a few rhetorical questions. However I would like to answer them in part if i may XD

I personally am Rafa's number one fan. I loved his counter attacking style and the fact that he could attract top players like: Alonso, Reina, Morientes, Torres (to name a few) without a great league position to start off with. Although he made a few mistakes I think people let emotions get away them sometimes. His worse finish was 7th, 2 possitions better than we are currently (-100 odd million + Mascherano).

"That was more the fault of G&H? My word, that was no the opinion of the baying masses at the time. Hindsight you say?"

I can not comment on this... I am well aware that many fans turned on Rafa;I for one never turned on him and was very disappointed to see him leave. I thought something was up with the owners as soon as Alonso was sold! So maybe in hindsight I actually presumed the owners were the problem!

Anyways; I have no issue with Kenny but I personally would love to see Rafa come back next year (he should of never left)! I just think he would be better and could rebuild us quicker, but what do I know after-all?
