Sorry we couldn't beat City for you. You're still a great club guys. And City have spent ****ing bolt loads of cash. If you're only losing on goal difference then you can count yourselves unlucky. I still think you're the better club guys. Better history, better foundations, better manager. You've spent your fair share, but your manager and club have spent wisely. You've had a **** load of injuries, and still stood firm, and I admire that. Ferguson is a fantastic manager. Sorry guys but City, I think we can all admit, on form can out class any team with the individual quality they have.
The only apologies issued should be by the idiot who picked our side v city and the players who threw the match v Everton.
Cheers Tash. United will be back stronger and hungrier next season. We have put better sides down before City who have spent silly money and we shall do it again. Blackburn, Chelsea, Liverpool.....City will be on that list, no need to worry about that.
May as well break out the champagne now. Combined with our 15-0 win at Sunderland and its in the bag.
Sorry Daff, was being sarcastic. Unless City completely freeze, which isn't impossible but highly unlikely, we'll lose comfortably.
but your fighting relgeation, plus Mark Hughes will have something to prove against City after they sacked him, i've given up on the title but you never know in football.
thanks tash, its good to see good fans like you here tash, we'll be back next season stronger and fight the title away from city. good luck, i hope you get 4th place this season, you have been fantastic this season, really impressed with Newcastle this season
Manchester United have been poor for the most of the season, and it amazes me that they've got 86 points (and will likely finish on 89). If it wasn't for Mancini making several mistakes over the course of the season with his team selection (namely playing such a strong side in EVERY competition, leading to burnout) City would have won it by the end of March. They battered United in both league games, and outplay virtually every side they come up against.
As said, stranger things have happened, and we gave them a bloody nose in the home game, but it's not happening mate. We are beyond clueless away from home.
i know you were awful against Chelsea ( no offence ) but the way this season has gone you never know.
