Everton v Newcastle United

So...... How are we going to call this one?

I think we I'll win this as Everton will have nothing go play for but pride....

 

We'll win then miss out on goal difference, this is Newcastle United after all.

 

I can see a 3-1 with Ba playing a part.

 

The guys will want to end the season on a high and give us a good send off. Can only see a win in this one.

Met the guy that runs one of the coaches when I was coming out of the ground today and he was as optimistic as I am about it.

I think you could win it, providing you play a 4-3-3, and try and overrun their midfield. You don't want Osman starting to pull the strings, if he plays well, Everton play well.

 

I'm just happy were back in europe so if we win it's just a case of seeing if the others slip up. Realistically Arsenal won't lose at West Brom, however Fulham are no mugs and might get a point at Spurs. Whatever happens we can look forward to next season and some more signings.

I think it will be another tough game, Everton have the home advantage and being the last game of the season they will want to end on a high, it will be a very hard fought

It's been a great season no matter what the result is, but I think we've still got enough in the tank to get the three points out of Everton.

Man C and Man U are going to be first and second but third place is still up for grabs.

Fulham (look what they did to us) beating Spurs for London Pride and West Brom beating Arsenal at the Hawthorns shouldn't be impossible to do. Arsenal aren't the team they were and they've put in some poor performances lately, so it could be all up to ourselves in the end. I think the guys have a good game left in them and they'll all want the larger stage of European football so I'm still going for a win for us.

Everton will have to stop a side trying to get a miracle done in 90 mins, it will be hard to stop such incentive.

It is indeed, had many a drop of it myself. Played in a games competition at the Brewery and they were giving it away. They even had it in the Old George once as a travelling beer.

 

Reminds me of a local beer up here... Radgie gadgie. There's a great micro brewery in Consett too.

Being a realist, I can't see us getting anything from the Everton game...a 3-0 scoreline to Everton ...and a sixth place finish to us...still a class season though...I'd have taken that at start of season

I can see this being a draw. We need to win but Everton are incredibly strong finishers to a season and also want to finish above Liverpool.
