vs Stadium Of Light 49,000 Attendance 3:00pm Kick-off Form guide - Sunderland lost at Fulham today 2-1, meanwhile, we won against Swansea at home the score was 2-0, although the crowd were subdued to City's result at Newcastle. Players to watch - The home side will pose a threat to us and we will have to watch out for Sebastian Larsson especially his free-kicks, we will need to be aware of Stephane Sessegnon he's got tricks and apce in his locker and if we can keep him quiet then i think we will win the game, they will need to watch out for Wayne Rooney, he's our star man and can score us important goals as well, also they will have to keep Antonio Valencia quiet because on his day, he can destroy any left-back in world football. The last time these two sides met - it was a 1-0 victory to us at Old Trafford, it wasn't the game of the season, we had been battered 6-1 by City a couple of weeks before and we were on a run with clean sheets and we were winning games 1-0 and keeping things tight at the back, the game was finished by an Wes Brown own goal. The referee for this game is - Howard Webb.
Yeah, it's been a funny season. We are lucky to be united fans and have had that much success we dont take it too much to heart when we dont win the league. Next year should be interesting, hopefully a few signings, if not we may find ourselves in the same position next year....losers
I heard a stat on MUTV earlier that was intersting, everytime we've failed to win the premier league title, we've won the next year, yeah i agree we are lucky, we've done very well this seaosn consdiering the inuuried we've had, we've had every player injured in our squad this season, thatt's remarkable.
Fergie single handedly got this team in a position to win the league, then somehow managed to lose it for us. Although I blame some ofthe players more, lessons have been learned this year, especially for the youngerp layers we have coming though. I think Jones and Smalling are fantastic prospects and I can see Jones eventually going on to become a great player
People forget he's only 20 years old and i think he's done evry well with us this swason, considering the pressure he was under after moving from Blackburn, Smalling will be a world class defender in 3 years time, i have no doubts about that.
To be honest I think next season will be both of their years, I think these 2 can be some of fergies greatest ever signings
Agreed, especially Smalling, considering Arsenal ( his boyhood team ) were interested in him, speaks volumes.
we still Love you united! we should be very loud against Sunderland, no matter if we lose we lsoe the title, we should show our support to united players, lets cheer our team on against Sunderland, we didn't lose the title on points, we just lost it on goal difference, lets take some pride, City spend more then 350 million in the last 2 season just to beta us by goal difference but no matter, we'll be back next season
Matt as you can predict the future ( knowing the attendance of next weeks game one week in advance ), can you message me the euromillions numbers for tuesday
Larsson just had surgery to be fit for the Euro's so won't be playing for Sunderland. You should probably spell/typo check before you post too.
