Well he is the new boy up against K Davies, Ngog, Klasnic and Miyachi. Its going to be very tough to force your way into that line up. The only bonus for him will be the 7-sub rule which means that he has a chance of getting on the bench. At least that way he is training with the first team all the time.
Yup, the filth with be back where they belong!! Also I see that Villa are holding Spuds but Weimann went on after 51mins but came off after 70. I hope thats nothing serious!!
We do but our May Day holiday is on May 1. All the countries that have this holiday have it on May 1. except Britain, why are Britains holidays always on monday? You are loosing because we can have holidays on any day and stretch them longer I work on our holidays, as it is quiet.
If I remember correctly, it always used to be on May 1 for us as well and then it was changed. Unfortunately, I can't remember which year or why.
We had a holiday on the 1st May and another one Tuesday 8th May to celebrate Victoire in 1945. Then there will be another one on the 17th May which is Jeudi de l'Ascension, followed on the 28th May, Lundi de Pentecôte.
In the CI, we have a Bank Holiday on 9th May called Liberaton Day - the Channel Islands were liberated the day after VE Day. Frenchie, we would have had the same Holday on the 28th May if it wasn't for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and it has been moved back a week and there is another one the following day.
As I said the other day, I am quite glad that I didn't have a vote in the French Presidential election that took place today as neither candidate fills me with confidence. The exit polls are showing that François Hollande will be the next President of the Republic. It does strike me that there is a comparison with football in the UK. On the one hand Sarko was telling people that the country has to live within it's means, whereas Hollande was saying that more spending was required to stimulate the economy. Was Sarko the Championship, while Hollande is the EPL? OK, it is an over simplification, but we have seen what happens eventually when a club spends too much and cannot service it's debt.
Watford Ladies have escaped relegation finishing 7th in a 10 team competition. This is impressive given that they got 1 point from their first 11 games. They then got 16 points in the remaining 7 games. I wonder what caused the turn around?
Has there ever been a more dramatic turnaround in sporting history? It truly is incredible. Unfortunately it's not Manchester United or Arsenal ladies, so few outside Watford will ever know about it.
