Nice to see Benitez is only 66 -1, What's everyone thoughts on Southgate, I wouldn't mind him here if Nick is to be sacked.

When I think southgate I think of the penalty miss. I wouldn't mind him as our manager next though I doubt it will be him.

If he is then he might as well announce his retirement now.

Some of todays papers are saying Phil Brown is going back and others are saying Barmby has made peace with your owners and is set to stay

You'll have your prayer mat out for Barmby to get sacked seeing as Mr. Personality is basing the whole of Leiceseristan's promotion push (LOL!) on signing 4 or 5 of our players.

Apart from one or two variations, you would probably get exactly the same list and odds if someone like boro sacked their manager tomorrow.

The guys mad, but for some reason Di Canio keeps drawing me in.

Why on earth is Chris Hughton so high up that list? Surely he'll either stay at Brum or get a better job (ie WBA)?

The best value bet there is Peter Reid. I can see them doing something fookin mental and appoitning a bag o' ****e like him.

And it really is odd that Brown isnt on there. I'd have him as second favourite for sure and if you can find somewhere offering a long price on him I'd snap their hands off.

I think there's a few on there which no fan wants - avram grant for one. going by the list - which i know is probably incomplete - would have as a trio on the shortlist Appleton, Strachan and southgate. how on earth is holloway and pardew on that list, but at least big fat sam and the ugly dinner lady aren't

basically... no one has a bloody clue whats going on. there's no clear leader on the betting sites and no one around here seems to know who the next manager will be either.

its anyone's guess what the final outcome will be.

It's funny how time alters people's perceptions of managers. When brown was sacked everyone said bollocks to south gate, when we came down everyone said bollocks to southgate, and when flat top left everyone said bollocks to southgate. He seems an intelligent chap and could probably make a decent manager, but on paper Dowie looks intelligent ffs. There's no denying southgate ruined boro.

I would take Bruce, or McLaren if not then may as well stick with Barmby! I think Curbs is looking for a big job maybe Everton when Moyes goes to Man Utd. But by that time Curbs will not even be thought of. He needs to take something soon or else he won't even be thought of for Blue Square jobs!

I don't want Barmby to go but if he does Di Canio would be very interesting and completely bonkers at the same time.

    Very entertaining!
