We did win a League Cup, which isn't bad for a club whose chairman never put his hand in his pocket. The real winner was Sugar, of course - for sneaking off to Sky to inform them of ITV's bid for the Premier League and advising them to "blow it out of the water." Given that Amstrad were manufacturing Sky aerials at the time, he did quite nicely out of it...and never shared the windfall with the club.

Oh, I can assure you absolutely that at least one of us, on this board, will, my yellow coloured, tweeting friend! There are new ones waiting to be ripped all over this forum. Of course, we mustn't count our canaries before they've hatched, so we must remain calm, and hope the boys can do the job. That's great.
