No debate this week folks - the same starting line up as for L'pool. So here's a little quizz to get you in the mood - http://www.westlondonsport.com/fulham-quiz/the-fulham-v-sunderland-five-questions/
The only question I actually knew the answer to was the Lee Clark question. I remember being quite excited when we signed him!
Something went wrong with my connection when I clicked to see how I did, so I don't know. Can someone post the answers? If not, I'll just have to assume that I aced it and swagger about the place boasting to you all about how much I know. I'm not certain of any of them, but at least 3 were calculated guesses rather than blind ones. I'm going to look so stupid when I get 0, aren't I?
The Club have confirmed that Sidwell is out for the rest of the season and Davies (hip) joins AJ (sic !) on the injury list. So, business as usual.
He was taken off towards the end of the Liverpool game - hamstring I think. If he's unavailable maybe time to give Kasami a game?
Kasami won't play, not at this stage in the season. He rarely makes the bench these days. Could be an opportunity for the fans to wave goodbye to Davies? Also in other news, looks like Murphy will be leaving at the end of the season (not retiring) according to his wife on Twitter.
Simon Davies is ruled out with a hip injury, so unfortunately we won't get a chance to say "thank you, and brilliant Digger". Kasami as a possible replacement for Dembele is an interesting one. The local rag played a story by Jol this week - http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/london-sport/fulham-fc/2012/05/03/fulham-midfielder-assured-over-future-82029-30893633/#ixzz1toVsUaUM The opening line does say "for next season" but he has been on the bench for the last couple of games and when Jol highlights a player in a press statement he then tends to play them next match up. All in all my hopes are that Dembele is okay though.
Just had a look at what she said Bandit - bit of a mixed message but she doesn't actually say he's leaving but then neither does she say he's staying!
I di not read Mrs Murphy's comments so negatively, and definately want him to stay. More importantly - It's prediction time! 2-0 to Fulham, but more if DemPele is fit. C O Y W !!
I'll go with 3-0! We'll sign off from the Cottage with a flourish. Dempsey to add a few quid to his transfer value with a couple of goals and Riise to finally break his duck by blasting in from 30 yards. . . . You read it here first!
