Spurs seem to fare the best against teams who open up, leaving space for their wings to start counter attacks. I don't think Villa fit that bill, so a draw is very possible.
I feared we would be having this discusion way back when we wer looking strong for 3rd, and some fool thought we'd overhaul City ofr 2nd, and Chesmey said we could even win the title. It's just the way we are over recent seasons - simply run out of steam and ideas against the lower half teams. Time to reel out the Gunners Special Ops team to find out where SPurs and Newcastle have their pre-match meals and ..... However, I think we can do it against West Brom, but it might not now be enough, though I expect both Spurs and Newcatsle to drop points tomorrow. Look on teh bright side though, if we finish 5th, and SPurs 4th, and Chelsea fly the flag and beat De Joymins in Joyminee the last laugh will be on us. Also missing out on CL may finally shock the board/Wendger into some market action.

Spurs will not only win, they will thrash Villa. Eventually, if you keep choking, your rivals will take their chance - we have given them a HUGE boost today. They then just need a home win vs Fulham to finish above us.
Finishing behind Spurs isn't a concern really. Only reason 3rd is so important is the possible win by Chelsea over Bayern.
Sorry but its much than pride. Spurs finishing above us is a disaster. Sure gettign CL is more important, but I woul dnever say that finishing below them is not a concern.
Ive been off of here for some months - half these 'fans' make me wish I hadn't bothered logging on again.
The players shouldn't need the manager to get them motivated for this game, surely they all know how important it is for the club. Need a lot more effort from Song and most important of all, Ramsey must NOT be in the starting line up
