Alarm bells should be ringing about the fact that we're looking to strengthen pretty much the same positions that we were looking to strengthen last summer.
Hate the way how for weeks people have been saying "2 cups isn't a bad return" like it was some foregone conclusion that we'd beat chelsea... Narrowly scraping a cup that no-one takes seriously against lower league opposition on penalties is simply not good enough. But at least Carroll looked great today when he came on, where's THAT player been for the past 12 months?!

I don't get why questions need to be asked now? After all of our league defeats then fair enough...but after losing an FA Cup final to the CL finalists doesn't warrant a sudden epiphany of "hang on a minute we are not as good as we hoped...lets start asking questions". The last few weeks we have been dire, but what else can you do except wait till the summer?

I wouldn't call you a Liverpool supporter. We are all about sticking together, all you do is spout **** about your own team. All I need is Crazyhorse to chip in and the day will be complete. It's not good at the moment but I'm proud of the lads and would not stick the boot in like you do after every defeat.
Agree with this. We're all disappointed and have our specific gripes about the game, but there's no need to publish a dramatic thread after every significant defeat.
I'm not having a go at people who may want to vent but just at you Wishi, you just turn up when it has gone wrong.
I was saving my grumbles for the cup final because I knew full well we wouldn't win. It was just to point out that it's put the tin hat on what has been, all in all, a terrible season for us. I was chuffed when Suarez scored that hat trick against Norwich but I didn't post because I wasn't near a laptop at the time. That has been the only highlight of the last few weeks. If I'd kept on posting you'd've never got me off because you say I only post to be negative. With regard to today, though, Carroll has earned his stripes. That positive enough for yer!?
