Charlton 3-1 Smurfs. Obviously happy but it starts to be a bit cruel, they're only small!

On a different note, are you lot ALL at the match. I get used to celebrating wins alone here in Spain, but I expected a couple more on an Addicks website!

Equals Fulham's record for the number of points accrued in the third tier.

The smurfs doing the Poznan after they scored is an image that will remain with me for many years.

The whole match changed in our favour when Pritchard came on for Waggy.

Yes, FHB - a pivotal moment, sod sentiment, why the hell didn't he start the game?

Wagstaff was awful, and Stephens not much better, and why did JJ start? He was struggling from about ten minutes onwards. Cort was missed as well.

Good for Hartlepool, they really gave it a go and those fans - fabulous.

Can hardly wait to see Kermorgant's goal on the box tonight, absolutely inspired bit of finishing.

My highlight of the day? Our gorgeous Opera Babe's red dress (sorry GMR) - I couldn't work out whether it was that bringing a tear to my eye or that belting version of 'Jerusalem'.

    Snorting end to the season.

    COYR!

A few not very good snaps for those who couldn't be there. Think I've put one on twice but. Don't know how to delete. On iPhone and being thick.

I had left before this. What with my souvenir bit of red paper that's was drapped over me seat. Was that our gift from the club? And the two opera singers was nothing special either, glorified pub singers. I though the red devils were good though. And the paper aeroplane display. The west stand were crap as usual at plane design

Wasn't it a paper plane from the West that nearly hit the ref in the "D" outside the penalty box?

I may be wrong but I saw about 5 planes only come from the west stand. Given that stand is usually full of bofins and the intellgencia I expected a plane to be designed of such aeronautical ability it would land take off and make it across the atlantic. The best plane was mine 'Typical 3' which took out a st johns ambulance guy.

I'd imagine Euell has played his last game for Charlton (and possibly in Football?) for him to make that little cameo at the end of the game today? Especially if he got ahead of N'Guessan and Hayes.

If thats the case, good luck and thanks for the memories Jason!!

I enjoyed the day. The ground before kick off looked marvellous. Enjoyed the singers and the parachutes. Bet Paddy Powell didn't though - some big skid marks on the pitch! Game was like a friendly but was almost bound to be. Great to see Yann finish off the scoring. I don't think he meant it but I'll reserve judgement till I see it on telly. Thought the presentation was a bit of a kerfuffle. Great to see it lifted but took too long faffing around to build the stage and then an interminable load of farting around with wags and kids before a disjointed lap of honour. My favourite bit was just as I was about to leave Solly, Wiggy and Kermit with the cup came round on their own. Our best three players together capped it off for me. It's in the pictures I posted A special moment.

As to the game, I thought we were ok. Gave away a stupid goal falling asleep after JJ went off but did well to get back in and win it. Waggy was utter mince and should have been sitting in the stands. Sorry not to see Green. Stephens continues to worry me and we only looked good once Pritchard filled in the gap between the midfield and the front. Haynes is fast and gives us a real option although he did look a little clumsy. Best game from BWP for a while and I thought Hollanda was quietly effective. But it was all a bit of a kick about. The smurfs were fab. Loved it when they sang all our songs immediately after we did. Happy days.

Just got back - pretty much echo what people have said. I tell you what , if Kermy meant the shot (i dont think he did judging by his reaction) then Marco Van Basten eat your heart out !

Also, very good to meet 2 fellow NOT606ers in Forever and Super - sorry if i was a bit short mate with you (Super), but was just desperate to get into the ground.
Got lots of pics which i'll load up tomorrow including one of the new strip.

Biggest disappointment for me was the 'lap of honour'. A straggly walk around by small groups of players and their families and various hangers on. Followed eventually by Kermy holding the trophy. It wasn't so much a 'thank you' as a 'we'd better do it'.

It should have been the team and CP altogether with the trophy. No one else.

    Very poor show.

Have to admit I actually agree West Stand Willy, i.e. who were half the people out there as after the Lap of Honour I couldnt see a thing from the East Stand where the players were gathered.

Completely missed Chris Powell when he walked past

The Steward who wouldn't let Suli get somebody out of the crowd at the end of the game... what a plonker!! Hamer went over to try to aid Suli but the Steward was having none of it :( ...............Suli later took the Cup to this person in the crowd

Very boring first half but second half was one of the most action packed performances of the season.

Three amazing goals, especially Kermorgants. I found the whole 'invite everyone in the stands who you know onto the pitch' a bit annoying. That said, Haynes (rather scary looking) mates seemed more appreciative of the fans than some of our players. That's a complaint for another day though I guess...
