I felt good before the game. Feel slightly depressed now, seeing so little fire in the belly I'm not so hopeful of the second half. Thought it was a good lineup but now I remember what happens when Suarez is left isolated up front. C'mon lads.
He's only been wobbling recently defensively, he was excellent earlier in the season. Going forward yeah he's not great. Although to be fair he's not a full back.
Spearing is ****. I don't understand why every single ****ing one of our passes is defensive minded. It's as if we're instructed to PASS BACK, BE SAFE unless its absolutely impossible to. No one is gutsy enough to run forward, they're all chicken-**** scared and would rather be safe and let someone else take risks. Suarez has seen less of the ball than ever. We're playing crap on the wings, and when we do get it through to Downing, THERE'S NO ONE IN THE BOX!? Why on earth are we playing with one striker? If we can't score with 3 strikers, how are we supposed to score with only 1? Get the ball through the middle, with a passing game. None of that hoofball **** from Skrtel and Spearing. Spearing, Downing are crap. Out the door, goodbye, get some replacements in. I don't see this one changing. It's the same old story and we've got no plan B to save the game.
We do have options. Kuyt and Maxi can make a difference. Carrol maybe. Lets hope we don't leave things too late.
