  2. And all you are good for is pretending everything is ok - no matter what happens.

I'll point out that you kept tellig us how good Ramsey was during the season. That alone tells me you dont have a clue<ok>

  5. What made me realise that we have to do all we can to get rid of Wenger was watching Ramsey today. There was a point in the game today at 2-1 down where Norwich broke. Ramsey just stopped running and let the forward go through on goal. No desire, no heart,. nothing. Yet Wenger has persisted with him and others like him. It is completely unforgivable.

well i have just returned from a touring the battlefields of D Day .

When attacking the German fortified battery at Merville , the British paras lost 2 thirds of the men in the drop most of them drowning in fields flooded by Jerry.
They lost all of their mortars and their radios didnt work .
They had only 100 men to attack the bunker complex and just light weapons.

They went ahead anyway and succeeded in capturing the battery ,thereby protecting the landing beaches, losing another 25 men .

This is determination against all odds.
They believed they could still succeed , and did .

First of all I have always said Ramsey was decent not good with some good games here and there but that he isn't playing to the standard I know he can
Second of all do you, who predicted Norwich would be relegated, have any right to tell me I don't have a clue
I'd like to see you in all your FIFA Manager Mode glory try to manage a Conference side let alone Asrenal
You think you know it all but you know nothing
So STFU because I'm doing arguing with you

Aside from the agony of not beating us, and I am as shocked as anyone that we came away with anything other than a bettering, what a game! Yes some of the defending was shocking and the some of the finishing from both sides was not much better, but for entertainment - what an incredible game.

Oh yeah, and the referee was a bloody disgrace too!

Quite agree. We are crap and if something big doesn't change now we will always be a supporting act in this league

.....i'll accept one, gervinho was offside for the second, but we should have had a stonewaller when we were leading 2-1 so it evens out, plus ramsey should have received a second yellow. but the ref was diabolical, unable to make the hard decisions.

Well I reckon that has put paid to ANY HOPES of CL for next season.
RVP will go. Podolski must be wondering what the **** am I coming to. Unless the squad is greatly strengthened as soon as the season ends I fear for our future.

  15. You defended Ramsey to the hilt and insulted others that had a go at him. You didnt know what you were talking about then and you certainly dont now. The performance today deserves nothing but contempt and our performances when it matters over the last 6 seasons have been shockingly bad. I've told you this on several occassions, but you choose to be blind. Up to you I guess.

    Very poor from Szczesny btw...

Hope it brings him down to earth a bit. With the cup final and some other games where he inexplicably leaves the goal for no ****ing reason, it shows that he really isn't all that reliable in important games.

Yes he might have saved us a few points during the season, but so could any average keeper.

He has saved us way more than a few points
I know you are pissed but I awful game doesn't make him an average GK

ramsey wasn't the only bad player. the whole team was bad.
rosicky was anonymous until we drew level at 2-2.
song was horrendous all through the match, but played a couple good chipped through balls at the end to partially make up for it. but apart from that, all he did was pass to norwich, slow down our play with his lack of technique and forget he's meant to track back when we lose the ball.
benayoun and gervinho had their moments, but for the most part were very poor and didn't influence the game at all. worst game i've seen from benayoun, who is normally decent when he plays.
in defence, koscielny was completely out-muscled by holt, but that was expected. vermaelen on the other hand should have had jackson locked down, but didn't and let him through on a few occasions. he also got completely out of position all of the time and also didn't track back after making one of his long (and pointless) run forward.
sagna and coquelin were alright when they played, nothing special, but they weren't troubled much.
gibbs i thought was our second best player, in attack and defence. at least he tried to defend (holt's deflected goal) and got some alright crosses in, some we should have scored from.
van persie didn't get the service he deserved, but still put away 2 goals. should have added another though when put through by song at 3-2 i think.

    overall player ratings:

    Szczesny 5
    Sagna 6
    Koscielny 5
    Vermaelen 4
    Gibbs 7
    Song 5
    Ramsey 4
    Rosicky 5
    Gervinho 4
    Benayoun 5
    van Persie 7

    Coquelin 6
    Chamberlain 7
    Chamakh 6

Are you serious? The goalkeeper should signal the player (who was with his back to the goal and eyeing the ball), not the other way around. Szczesny just moved up to him.

Anyway, one thing that separates top class keepers: Reliability in important games. I'm not asking him to be superhuman game after game. I want him to be solid when we most need it. No hero plays are required, this guy will leave goal for any non-chance the opposition have, for no reason. Good teams will capitalize on that.

An Arsenal keeper on average will be tested a lot less than others due to the way we play. We only need the keeper to be solid on those cases. Hero plays are a bonus once in a while but it's not a necessity. Being solid and reliable, that is it.
