Arsenal vs Norwich City: Match Thread

Discussion in 'Arsenal' started by Sanj, May 1, 2012.

  1. Awful performance all round, except for 20 minutes in attack.

    Defence was shocking.

There is no way Wenger should be allowed to carry on killing the club. We have zero bottle. WTF was Song doing when we were 3-2 up,... dwadling on the ball and giving it away for their goal. Where the **** does he learn that ???

Just go Wenger and take Ramsey, Song, Chamakh, Bendtner, Denilson, Squillaci, et al with you.

next week is RVP's last game for Arsenal.

Their defender just pushed RVP over with both hands. How the hell did he not see it?

Point being is that we had it in our own hands. We were at home, there were no excuses. So I won't be upset if we don't get CL football. We shouldn't be relying on other teams. I hope Chelsea do beat the kkKopite today though. <ok> Good luck.

The last goal sums up everything that is so wrong with Arsenal. The last goal shows perfectly and clearly why this team will never win a trophy. They had 10 min against a Championship team to hold onto a CL , and they bottled it, just gave it away, LIKE THEY ALWAYS DO.

  5. One of the worst displays from our team I have ever seen. Dont blame the ref. Its due to him we even had a chance to come back.

As a neutral I agree with the first two, the third however should of been offside before the ball even reached RVP.

If you get Champions league footy and show an intent to make changes in the transfer market I strongly believe he will stay. No Champions League and he will go regardless though.

  9. We have been gifted second chances so many times this season now. It's almost at a point when one could say that it is not deserving.

Considering the importance of this game, the guys let themselves down as did our manager. I can't blame the referee really because he could have awarded a penalty against us for Koscielny's shirt pull so in the end it was fair from that point of view. The guys should have known to win this one and they allowed it to slip away in the first half

How did the assistant ref not see it? These assistant refs don't give anything unless they are asked, even if it's clear as day for them to see.

Just like when we capitulated against Wigan in the 09/10 season. Remember that one? Almost exactly the same. Spineless and no bottle. An absolute joke. I said at 3-2 up we wouldn't hold the lead.

  14. Piskie - whatever drugs you areon , please pass them out <ok>

We were awful. We have proceeded to bottle the last part of the seaosn AGAIN. That is 9 points from the last 21 and just 3 from the last 12.

You were told that this team had no character, but you chose not to believe it.

So, he decided to make two wrongs to compensate for one. That push on RVP was as clear as day.

Wenger really has lost it hasn't he? A woeful, spiritless, depressing, cowardly performance. No guts, no fight, no pride, a complete ****ing shambles. Please just **** off Arsene, you've ****ed the team up for long enough. RVP has gone and good luck to him, he deserves much better than this shower of ****.

  19. RvP's goals were wasted today.

These guys simply do not know how to close down a game. Now whose fault is that I ask? It's something particularly absent in the Wenger years. I'm sorry but this is it, he needs to go and it's about time the ' Thanks for the memories ' brigade got their act together at The Emirates. Only problem is that they won't be any EPL games there anymore this season.

I really do feel for Ramsey. Before his injury sustained against Shawcross, he was at the time better and more promising than even Wilshere. That injury seems to have ruined his career.
