vermaelen has been poor in my opinion. apart from the one good tackle that earned him a yellow, he has lost most of his 1 v 1s against jackson and been out of position a lot more than he should be, because he doesn't offer that much going forwards when we don't cross it. koscielny is being bossed by holt, but you would expect that. vermaelen needs to step it up a gear.

Our squad already has been dismantled over the last few years. And that was with CL footie. Those we have signed (mertasacker, arteta, oxo, santos) would of joined us with or without cl footie. Its not like we are going to be in for goetze, sneijder, or any superstars is it. We will go for youth and potential.
