I don't think so. Losing letters and putting omission marks is hard enough but some singers have strange ways of saying words and letter t is d or not there and then there is gonna and wanna. You need a language police like the Íslensk málstöð or L'Académie française to make sure the language is respected.

Morning all, bright and breezy in rural France this morning, but forecast for the day says changable, which I always take to mean that they don't know.

Must try and get some jobs done before midday as small persons are descending on us then to be fed. At least they will get my attention at 4.00pm which they wouldn't on match day.

Do think that it is really bad that the Cup Final is being moved around to suit TV companies. I still think that when it was at 3.00pm and the last game of the season it had greater value.

Have I started my day with a moan? Not good. Still it sounds as if the do at Shendish went down well;)

Just off to a Mexican themed party. Sorry Mexico but it will probably be full of cliches. Mrs NZ is going as a Frieda Kahlo type character. I will be wearing black and trying to sell little packets of baking powder. I hope to God we don't get stopped by the police on the way as I think I could be spending a night somewhere other than my bed, at least until the white powder has been confirmed as harmless.

Dressed in black, you could always have strapped on a six gun, shaved your head and gone as that well-known Gringo, Yul Brynner.

Personally I wouldn't need a costume - I could just go as Pauncho Villa.

Thanks for the frothy AK - chilly morning in bandit country. Had a 50th birthday party last night and I was on my best behaviour, just a few pints of weak aussie lager and NO Sailor Jerry! Round my mates tonight to celebrate his son's 21st - but he will not be there as he is in Helmand!

Why did we sell John-Joe O'Toole? I liked him and he was scoring goals for the club, so why did we loan him out, then sell him?
