Really? poised for a finish an upper mid table/possibly top 6 finish after facing a potential relegation battle and bringing some exciting young players into the team. Fair enough, you're entitled to your opinion, but you're ****ing daft as a brush to think that pal! Why the Pearson hating?

TWF's hatred of Pearson is obviously irrational and unfounded, but he's entitled to that opinion(I'm sure he'll use the awkward when interviewed and boring to watch football argument as his justification), his problem comes with his hatred of Barmby, as that's absolutely impossible to justify.

I hate Barmby, he's gone and injured himself, and possibly put our chances of a top 6 spot under scrutiny. Not something your best player should be doing at the end of such a tight season.

I can't say I'm overly pleased with a midtable position after a bad start that had no reason to happen. That'd be like praising a reformed drug addict, and I don't get why people do that either.
I'm indifferent on the interviews, sure I like it when the manager gets a pint of Guinness at the end of it, but hey ho I'll live with Nigel's monotone voice and unwarranted arrogant smirks. The football is ****ing ****e this season, you know that, everybody knows that. I just don't see why people are happy with it, he may have made some good signings, but so did Phil Parkinson, also the boring football is because of his style of management, so it won't change while he's here, I'd rather he just left and we got a more positive manager. Who wants to be here.

As for Barmby, he's overrated beyond belief, I'm not one for headless chickens running about kicking people, I also get the feeling he think he's bigger than the club, if he had any decency he'd retire.

i actually think if barmby is out for 4/5 weeks, it pretty much ends our faint play off hopes....he has been that effective this season..it will probably cost us 2 or 3 points..which will all but end it....
this opinion comes from seeing the effect he has had on every game this season, which with all due respect, andy kings crown jewels, im guessing you havent seen many..

Comments like "Barmby thinks he's bigger than the club" are unfounded, pathetic and wrong. How can you possibly not see the effect Barmby has had in games? You're making comments like these for a laugh surely.. otherwise it's just nonesensical..

We were badly managed financially by the previous regime (Duffen et al) and were paying the consequences for their foolishness after relegation. We could have had Mourinhio here and we still would have had a bad start, stripped for cash and of our best players. Had Brown been here still it would have been the same situation, and Nigel has to be comended for working with his hands tied in difficult circumstances and play a big role in turning our season around. Once we found out the extent of our financial predicament (Sept 2009) we knew what things would be like had we gone down, so you can't tell me that regardless of who was in charge in August.

As for the post match team talks, who really gives a ****? Yeah i liked Brown's before they got rather tedious, and yeah Nigel's are quite boring, but were producing the goods on the pitch. Yeah, Parkinson did sign good players, the difference been of course now we're upwardly mobile and aren't bottom of the league and losing every week. A manager who wants to be here? where did you work that one out? I try and accept your points of view, but when they get as stupid and unfounded as that i'm really not inclined to, as you offer no proof to back up your claim.

Barmby may not be the best player, but we'll miss his enthusiasm and impact he has when he comes on the pitch. Fingers crossed we'll cope. Also, another stupid comment, when has Nick ever appeared to think he's bigger than the club? He's a local lad who has the interests of the club and local community at heart. He's never complained about noit starting for example, accepts the managers decision and does his best to win a place in the team. Is your view on Barmby soured after the fiasco on the bridge with Bullard?

Disappointing if Barmby is out, he still makes an impact in our games, but a squad is only as good as its reserves, and hopefully whoever comes onto the bench to replace him, can come on and do the same and make a positive impact. Hope everyone who is going today sees a great game
