<whistle> Was a debate on another thread, so I thought I would start a new one. Says all in the title <ok>

    1) Messi (Scored 68+ goals this season so must be seen as a striker)
    2) Rooney
    3) Aguero
    4) Gomez (The guy just seems to get on the end of anything that gets put into the box)
    5) Benzema
    6) Neymar
    7) Tevez
    8) Van Persie
    9) Llorente (Looks a class act for Bilbao)
    10) Suarez (He may be a cock, but he's class)

I know I missed some big names out... but it's top 10.

If mods want this deleted, so be it.

Got to have Cavani and Falcao in any top 10 IMO.

I left Messi out of my list on the other thread because I don't consider him to be a proper striker. If he must be included, then obviously he would be number 1 and knock everyone down a place.

    1) Neymar
    2) Rooney
    3) Van Persie
    4) Tevez
    5) Gomez
    6) Ibrahimovic
    7) Aguero
    8) Cisse
    9) Llorente
    10) Falcao

Who would you have not in the top 10 then? I do agree, those 2 players are class.

I don't consider Messi or Ronaldo strikers, which is crazy when you consider the goals they have scored.

    1. Cavani
    2. Falcao
    3. Aguero
    4. Villa
    5. Di Natale
    6. Benzema
    7. Van Persie
    8. Ibrahimovic

    10. Gomez

I was debating on Villa but with his broken leg he can't be classed in my top 10 at the moment.

Di Natale is brilliant but a bit old.

Also, Higuain is second to Benzema in the Madrid starting line up.

Higuain is a better striker than Benzema imo, and I've never been a massive fan of Rooney, not really the kind of striker I like. He is obviously still very good but wouldn't make a top ten from me.

    No order...

    Zlat
    Van Persie
    Rooney
    Falcao
    Aguero
    Neymar
    Tevez
    Suarez
    Benzema
    Gomez

This is done very quickly so I probably missed some obvious ones... deliberately omitted Messi and Ronaldo, not because of their "ooh are they aren't they strikers" status but because it's more entertaining to leave them out - obviously including them would put them 1 and 2 on anyone's list. I hope in a few months to put Papiss Cisse on here, the way he's playing at the moment is astonishing but I want to see him keep it up. I wouldn't have put him in the top 10 before Newcastle so I want to see a sustained run before I commit.

Why have you picked Messi on the basis he scores a lot of goals and not Ronaldo? LOL.

He's a midfielder/winger in my opinion. Messi has played at top for a few years now.

Mine are all PL strikers as I don't watch enough European football to make a decent judgement. If Carlton Cole can look like Didier Drogba on his day, so can some matey in the occasional CL match that I watch.

    In no particular order:

    Papiss Cisse
    Wayne Rooney
    Robin Van Persie
    Sergio Aguero
    Didier Drogba
    Luis Suarez
    Clint Dempsey
    Edin Dzeko

Any more would only be making up the numbers.
