Bricknell Ave Primary School and Commonwealth Homes, Hartoft Rd, Bricknell Ave estate were poling stations yesterday. You can't just turn up at any and you're appointed which one you should turn up at. You're mates might live East Riding( already mentioned) but Bricknell Ave definitely wasn't neglected as far as poling stations were concerned.
Polling or poling. Toeing or Towing. Ku De Ta or fuk knows. Its getting more and more complicated life.
Should vote for Jamie Devitt, he's always rated as the thickest player in the programme so would fit in well
Is it beyond a clued-in lawyer to suss out a scheme/deal re: the stadium whereby both Council and Allams benefit?
There was somewhere had an 8% turnout. I don't know if they had seats as well, or whether it was just for the mayoral referendum but that is ridiculous.
It was to do with the Elections on whether to have a Mayor. http://www.localgov.co.uk/index.cfm?method=news.detail&id=105664 States that 'Early polling figures suggest widespread apathy, with turnout in some wards across the country as low as 8%.'
I'm critical of the Council because I think in general they're playing party politically rather than sticking to what the principles they were elected on are. The 8% figure wasn't in Hull, it was somewhere there was a mayoral referendum, I thought the low turnout there was pathetic so I was using it to say that the turnout in Hull hadn't been that bad. Although I wasn't sure if they'd been voting for Councillors as well, if it's just been a mayoral referendum in that place then I can understand the low turnout.
How about, the Allams give 51% of their shares in the SMC to a supporter share scheme and the council sells the KC to the SMC.
Whiskey and dry at the moment - strange goings on mate. I guess it will be your shout on the opener (if home); stay well sheriff!
