A back injury (even if he's passed fit to play) is the worst thing for him re. his long throws. While I'd still expect Stoke to be fired up (they don't play any other way), it sounds like Pullis isn't too focused if that's his criteria for team selection. I just hope we pepper/torment Sorensen enough to make him sharp for their final game....
I'd rather Delap played. He's one of the worst players in the league and would be in League 1 at best without the throws. Shotton's throws are nearly as good and he's a far better player.
I agree. Delap is average at best. He retains his position due to those throws. Think he even just signed a new deal.
Meanwhile at Loftus Road, Sean Wright Phillips (useless) and Jay Bothroyd (completely useless) will likely miss out.
Remember the big brute that threw long for Millwall a few years ago and Ollie got Lee Cook to stand in his way every time. Yer man lost it and Nutted Cookie with the ball and got sent off! A similar tactic required this weekend I think. We could use Buz. He's used to getting nutted in the face..........
Use SWP - by the time he reaches down to him to nut him he'll have lost balance and fallen flat on his fess
That guy was so bad, for a couple of season's when a ref had a terrible game it was: "Oh so he had a Rennie then"? The bloke's Ned Kelly was the biggest I've ever seen on a sports field.
