Actually as the stater of this petition my aim is not to force or beg the Allams to keep Nick on. If you read-my long post on the petition thread I make it clear it is a show of support for Nick. The Allams already know what the fans think of him. But I just can't sit back and let things go on. I need to do something and this is my bit. I am happy that 258 have signed so far and am going to push for 500 before close of day today. Going to work on it all day, as I am off work ill. As for getting it to the Allams I am a courier bye trade so will simply courier it with a signature addressed to the Allams at their company HQ. I can't do better then that. I am unfortunate in that media outlets have to be impartial or the e signatures would have been in the thousands now, not 100's. Pity about the Allams out comments, they are obviously east hullers with no brains.
Thats why from day one Allams should have said to Adam Pearson You know what you are doing in football matters we dont so please run it. We shall assess where the club is in 2013 when AP contract ends. Ehab being involved at the club has not been good shall i suggest. Maybe the LMA and the overall fans anger will make an impression on the Allams. Nick also has to think of the bigger picture and not just his ego. Who on here has not had a boss that was awful - hopeless or simply a ****ur ?
Please do not claim to represent the City fans. You do not. You are jumping to conclusions over a situation you know barely anything, beyond wild speculation, about. Just because you read it on the internet, doesn't make it true or a fact. 258? Jesus Christ. Aiming for 500? Oh wow, thats awesome, 500 people, who may or may not be 500 unique voters, who know nothing about the situation, are jumping to conclusions and think anyone gives a crap what they think? Versus oh, lets say, 45k other people who don't? Don't waste your afternoon with something that is, frankly, pointless.
I think I understand the point you are making, but playing devil's advocate, if I had pumped a minimum of £41m into a company I would want to have a say in how it is run, wouldn't you. I'm not saying that the Allams should take over with their admitted lack of football knowledge, but I wouldn't expect them to just give free reign to someone else either. If I've misunderstood your point, apologies
He's been suspended for the comments in the media and nothing else, no matter how many different stories people make up that won't be changed. It doesn't make sense at all but it's the truth unfortunately. I've been surprised by it too. There's been a lot of new posters siding with the owners but I completely agree with what you've said. I've said that a few times. There are other clubs with awkward people in charge but most of them are considered 'big clubs' and will be more favourable to managers. We are not seen as a big club to many people and that combined with the situation with the owners might put a lot of people off. A lot of people seem to think this is just about Barmby being from Hull but it's much more than that, he was doing a good job and it was going to be a lot better n Bollocks. FFS he's just trying to show some support for Barmby. As I keep saying to you, if you want to ignore the information we have and make your own that's fine, but stop having a go at everyone else for believing what is very likely to be true.
The neg heads make me want to do it more. It'sonly 261 because I'm struggling to spread the word. Also most forums are now dead. utt
No it doesn't. Not at all. The Allams have denied it but I don't believe for one second that what they say is true. They voluntarily did that interview to try and get the fans back onside and somehow they've managed to get loads of people to buy it. People are reading it and saying. From what's been said I'm still very worried about the prospect of losing some good players. Yes even Tickler's kids' favourite players.
We might not need a petition, I think there's a chance that some of those involved may be thinking that they perhaps overreacted and are reviewing their position.
Every time i read an olm post i can't help but read it as,in the know info. Im taking this one as just your opinion. Am i right Lammy ?
You're not thinking of quitting as Moderator are you? Sorry. Agree that it would be the best outcome, to keep NB. Personally think that AP could be lost, but time will tell.
I'd have thought they were both lost by now. I just think the type of person NB is he might not want to go back to his job. I'd love it if they made up but I can't see it unfortunately. AP though as you say definitely seems gone for good.
A petition only tells one side of the story and unless huge represents no one except the petitionees. A poll would be of much more interest to see what the interested fans are thinking on the matter. Hidden at the bottom of an inferior webpage on vital hull there is such a poll "Do you support the Allams stance on Nick Barmby?" Of the pond life who have replied (I don't know how many but including myself), 75% would reserve judgement pending more information and twice as many support the Allams as don't!
Dead? This one sure the **** isn't rofl. Talk about trying to massage **** to suit your opinions. Well yours and I Saw A Conspiracy Theory.
So in fact, I might have been right all along with my stance about not sharpening my pitchfork and burning effigies of the Allams in Anlaby Rd? Wow thats gonna piss some off on here. So its entirely possible we end up with Nick still, more players, an even better financial footing, possibly even a proper manager or someone for Nick to work and learn with and we get to give a good push for promotion next season, aided by some benevolent local business men who are doing it for the City? I KNOW that's gonna piss some people off.
