Given the angle at which he struck it, how was he going to score unless he achieved that degree of swerve? Reckon he was going for the uber lob? Or the deflection off the stadium roof? <ok>

Not knowing their full names has let you down Eric. It's actually Honda Accord, therefore 11 letters <ok>

There is one epic fail in your post. Let's see if anyone can spot it with a bit of subtle highlighting... <whistle>

The words of a man who has lost an argument.
It could have easily gone top left with half the swerve, if you want to get into specifics. He didn't know where Cech was, so he didn't know precisely where to aim for to score. He was going for goal, that's all.
And, btw, the goal was an 'uber lob', wasn't it?

Cisse meant to score but his shot was speculative,if he manages to do it again in the same fashion he'll get the benefit of the doubt.

Its like Alonso's first goal where he lobbed the keeper from the halfway line and the LFC haters said it wasn't as good as Beckhams against Wimbledon blah blah blah,so Xabi done it again against Luton and outshone goldenbollocks in the process.

    <whistle>

Lol, you can practically taste the smugness in your post <laugh>

Fair point about the corner, but to get it anywhere near the goal was gonna need a whole lot of swerve. In fact, to get it into the top left would actually have needed it to swerve more / faster given the angle on the initial shot. Suppose you could call it an uber lob, but I always think of lobs as ones that are flighted and placed a la Beckam, not driven and swerved like Cisse's. I'm old skool like dat <ok>

The 3 goals mentioned were all good, like mentioned above it depends what goal type of goal you like

As a reds fan i say Suarez's goal But the Cisse goal was something you might only see once in a season thus makes it that bit more special
I don't care if he meant it or not it was a fab strike

    END OFF

This. Personally I think Cisse's was better due to the fact he had to hit it first time with no real chance to set himself up right. The Suarez one was great, but it was the kind of one that 90% of decent players would either have got near the goal or forced a save. For the Cisse one, 90% of players would've been more likely to shoot down a low flying aircraft than get it anywhere near the goal.

Not as good as Martin Skrtel for Fulham. Not only did he score with his chest, but he did it when he wasn't even playing for them <ok>

At least Skrtel made contact with the ball whereas the 2 United defenders didn't and let little Vincent Kompany jump up and score

Lol dave, I didn't expect anyone would bother biting on that one <laugh>

And yes, well done Skrtel on making contact with the ball. Otherwise it might have been a goal for Fulham!! Oh, hang on...

Any goal that Andy Carroll scores should be the goal of the season. I don't need to explain why.

Its May now and we have had 1 whole week of summer sometime back in April.

The forecast for the next week....white cloud, its not even a forecast, the laziest weather forecast ever.

Its like Olly Williams on Family Guy.

"and now Olly Williams with todays weather, Olly"

    "WHITE CLOUD"

    "Thankyou Olly"

It's almost as bad as when they fill a week of new bulletins with updates about the snowy conditions. How on earth is that news to anyone? A brief warning, fine, but sometimes they were talking about it for a good half hour a day.
'This village is snowed in, that village is snowed in...so we've gone over there with a camera to film it all!'

You would always be waiting for the reported to go "and heres Mrs Whitby who took a tumble last night, shes now frozen solid, Mrs Whitby can you tell us how its feels in the cold........ah seems shes a bit shy, back to you in the studio"

Rather than help her they ask her what its like outside in the cold.

News, there really isnt 24 hours of the stuff a day.

Could be worse, 15 minute Sky Sports News loop all ****ing day haha, my god.

I never realised this until I started watching it more frequently. I always thought they were just repeating the main points, but then I'd notice that they'd clear their throat or cough at the same moment every time. Can't believe they don't even bother to iron out the mistakes if they're going to loop it all day. What are the presenters doing while all this is going on? A half hour shift and then **** off home?
