Yes ..... I also wonder if the cardiff players were lacking in confidence... they gave away so many passes ... and what chances they has they fluffed...

West Ham played a game where they gave Cardiff players no time on the ball, and Cardiff players were not good at getting the ball under control with that pressure. Towards the end some of the shots of Malky showed someone who seemed to know that he didn't have a side able to beat a good away side.

Glad you feel that you have made the right decision Yorkie, we wish you well. <ok>

    Good morning one and all,

Feels very humid this morning with a sky that is a mixture of blue and grey. Last night we had a thunder storm just about overhead with torrential rain for half an hour. Very glad I managed to cut plenty of grass in the afternoon as it is very wet again. :(

I will have my coffee then take a trip into town as the fuel is getting low and will see if there are any good offers in the cave. ;)

Have a good day whatever you have planned.<ok>

I was told by one of my Govenors once 'If you think your indispensable - take a bucket of water, put your hand in, stir it as much as you like, close your hand into a fist and pull your hand out of the bucket. The hole you leave in the water is how long it will take to replace you. He was always a charmer.'

    Morning all

Hope it works out, Yorkie. I took early retirement 7 years ago, briefly wondered whether I would miss working, and rapidly concluded I didn't at all.

Afternoon all - what a crazy day in Corporate madness...every day I do this job I seem to find a bigger surprise than the day before!

Great result for the 'ammers last night and Mrs W_Y & #2 son are happy bunnies..shame on you Wrexham, you let your nation down!

Well done Yorkie, I am envious as hell!

I am currently in a totally opposite situation to yorkshirehornet (well, not me directly). My wife was informed on Monday that she would be redundant! Not ideal, as we MUST earn the money she gets to pay our mortgage.

But, it has come at a time where I have got a pay-rise, a bonus and been told another "significant" pay-rise is on its way very soon. Plus, she already has 3 very promising interviews arranged for the coming weeks.
