Fair enough, it's not an easy one to call. The reality is, that it was the combinations that really made them, the quality of the musicians in The Who, Led Zep and Cream were all quite exceptional, it's rare that this many talented musicians happen to meet each other, we should just be grateful that they did.
Me too. Mmm, mmm, ORANGE SODA. Coca-Cola and Limeade are nice as well, though only in separate glasses.
Brilliant band! Saw these in Sheffield last year. I feel like I'm the only student who is into the proper Britpop stuff like Gene, Ride, Heavy Stereo, Powder, Northern Uproar, Gomez, Seahorses, Supergrass, Belle & Sebastian. Every other student seems to be into dubstep. I've tolerated an Annie Mac set till 4am which was actually alright in the end.
There was a blind lass on Mastermind before from Oxford Uni, answering questions on Belle and Sebastien. Pretty surreal tbh, I thought those posh kids all liked rap music because it was rebellious and didn't fit with their ma and pa's classical tastes?
i saw shed seven at leeds academy last year..was brilliant, among the best gigs ive been too..electric atmosphere, sweat and beer everywhere..as it should be
Still Friday night here .. sort of. Anyway, just remembered the other day how terrific Starsailor were. Shame they broke up. Saw them here in my town in 2006 or 2007 and about fifty people showed up. Was a damn shame because they still put on a hell of a show. UTT.
