    I don't play Civilisation online but I do play Runescape which sucks you in to the point where you're doing stuff such as "chop down tree, chop down tree, ...inventory full...put logs in bank...chop down tree, etc..." and I'll do this for 6 hours a day for a month to get to a certain level. **** knows why I do it, guess I just want to prove that I'm a sadder **** than all the other ****s.

    Soak some cotton wool in whiskey and place on the affected area
    It will act as an anaesthetic

    Ah yes the toothache, I was going to mention it earlier but forgot: there's a mouthrinse you can get from the chemist called Difflam. It's antiseptic, antibiotic and anaesthetic. Get a bottle of that, you don't need no dentist.
