What will the Olympics do for the north of ENGLAND? **** all, all the money will stay down south, how will Sunderland, Ellington, Crook, Carlisle Berwick etc etc...benifit. We wont, all we did was pay taxes for the southern shandy drinkin brigades jamborie. and the ego trips of politicians, bit like the white elephant upside down Wok, the DOME. or was it doom.
Tonight is election night Froggie, a lot of the ****ers will get a bloody nose ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I hope.
Yeah hope so but it ain't going to change a bloody thing will it. Tory Labour LibDem there all the tucking same these days out for Numero Uno.
Love all sport, but not at the expense of folks who are struggling to heat their homes, feed the kids. pensioners looking at a bleak future, so on a moral standpoint this Olympics, not watching.
I'm the same with the Euro's tbh. It's a bit like giving a smack head Methadone. All it does is tide you over until the next big fix.
Looking forward to them, no doubt we'll get a medal in cycling, shooting and.........errr i'll come back to that one.
Billo, Couldn't agree more, waste of money when so many are struggling, there has been a post earlier along the same lines, some are up for it and others aren't, personally I couldn't give a flying f--k, a money spinning jamboree for the south and an area of London regenerated, now I wonder if there are any such areas in the North East could have benefited in the same way, will it happen, not a chance. Roll on August when it will all be over and the footy is back.
