Well if that's the case I'll buy the garden gnome pint then.. seems I jumped the gun.. humble apologies offered..
I expect the next Manager to have the surname Allam. They are obviously so full of themselves (i.e. full of ****), have played Football Manager for 6 months and think that because they are Egyptian they are descended from the God Thoth and can do anything. F'ing cutns they are.
I see a lot of what Cloughie had in NB, he was a friend of my Dads and has the same drive and self belief on how footie should be played, and getting the players he needed to play his way. What NB needs is a Peter Taylor type sounding board to help out and bounce ideas off, my suggestion would be another of our own and get Brian Horton in to do that job for him, maybe getting rid of AP was the trade off to bring BH back !
Venze I find it hard to disagree with your post. In fact had a similar chat with some along the same lines.
If Joyce does get I'd like to point out I said it first last year on hull city mad last year, I thank you
I'd love it if they made up with NB and let him carry on but I cna't see it. After the stuff they've said in the last couple of days I can't see either party wanting to carry the relationship on any more.
Almost all the names mentioned on here are terrible. Bruce? No, he spends too much money and considering the amount of players he bought in for Sunderland and how well they did I wouldn't want him. Davis? No, he got sacked by Forrest by constantly slagging off the Forrest owners for not investing. McCarthey? No. Just No. Windass? No. Horton? No. The only few I'd consider are Joyce, Ole Gunnar, Brown and of course Nicky B.
I also think that this post has a lot of merit to it, and maybe not far off he truth, installing a new manger could be a lot more expensive then giving nick a warchest. Although you would have thought Darren Robbo will have have pointed this out to Ehab and his dad before the suspension. Unless of course he was suspended in the heat of the moment, and its now gone to far.
Seriously then, am I literally the only one who thought Nick was doing an average to poor job? We have indisputably gone backwards in the last 6 months and I think people are letting their emotions get carried away. Yes the suspension is wrong if it's for the reasons suspected, but if they'd come out and straight sacked him for footballing reasons I honestly wouldnt have batted an eyelid.
I though nick was doing ok not great not bad. I was disappointed with going forward, we couldn't effectively go forward Stewart had so many bad games Koren not involved enough McLean not a winger. As for ole Gunnar, I have no idea why everyone wants him.
Just a thought (thinking outside the box and how foreign chairmen sometimes act) - what's the odds on it being some guy from Egypt
