    I miss you all.

    How sad is that? And how can you miss virtual strangers on an internet forum?

    But I've just been so incredibly busy between my flats, being back in the car trade and get this.... I've just spent a fortune on new DJ equipment as I look to return to spinning the discs. <laugh> The oldest swinger in town!!! <laugh>

    It's all so different these days, apparently I'm going to be a VDJ.... a Virtual DJ <whatawanker>

    That's right, no records in scheppes boxes, no 12 inch re-mixes, not a CD in site, it's all done from a laptop - piece a pish really. <ok>

    Years ago when I was mobile I was NITE MAGIC, a name I copied from a Nightclub in Dunfermline back in the day, this time round I'm thinking along the lines of Memory Lane or The Time Machine but I'm sure a one or two of you here can come up with something better. <laugh>

    Anyway, great to see the board going so well and it's great to see some of the old names again <slapmaboabiemuir>

    I have a pair of Numark CDX's sitting in my ma's spare room, cost me 1200 quid for the pair about 5 years ago barely used them. Quite sweet in that you plug MP3s in but you still get a full 12 inch vinyl platter spinning, and are able to control the MP3s like you would a vinyl, scratching and everything.

    Wish I had the ****ing time to get back into it.

    I bought the Numark Mixtrack Pro on the net and the daft ****s sent me 2 in the box <laugh>

    If I was a decent sort I'd let them know but I'm a Car Dealer and they've had it.

    Bought my speakers yesterday, McGregor Mytek 210's at a whopping £999!!!! But a man of my talents doesn't come cheap and I'll make back my initial costs in jig-time.

    Canny wait to be honest.

    I have a set of pioneer cdj 400s would love to upgrade to the pioneer cdj 1000 mk3 but cant justify that much on what's just an expensive toy for me really.:emoticon-0149-no:

    Thanks for that (I think)........... It's only when you've been away from here for a while you realise how much you actually miss the old place.

    And I see The Lurgan Bigot managed to get one over the SFA today, what a horrible little reptile of a man he truly is. Honestly, yae'd never get fed up punchin phuk oot that coupon.

    What's the attraction in being able to carry your entire music collection on a memory stick? You miss out on the glamour of carrying 12 tons of vinyl!!
