My husband and brother were in Anglesey for years on the station there, my husband went to Deeside only this Monday, he's living in Hoole at Chester.

    It really isn't...

More like Carlisle really, too small and out of the way for anyone to care about it, you just drive past it on the way to a different country.

Flint is the only place in Wales I've been to, didn't get to see any of it though.
My brother wants to live in Porthmadog, worked there for four years until about three years ago, he absolutely loved it.

That's probably for the best. Flint is basically a massive industrial estate, and some blocks of flats, shops etc. for the people who work there.

Porthmadog is really nice, although I always find it odd cos its sort of on its own, becomes like its own country at times. Beautiful place though, the sea there is amazingly clear.

I took my 1st dan black belt grading in North Wales - Ogwen Bank, near Bethesda. Fantastic place and great memories.

A week of full-on fighting, hard training and even harder drinking. 7am 'sparring' (with major hangover) every morning, with the occasional 'dip' in the freezing cold river Ogwen. Then around 6 hours training per day. And then on the last day, it was gtrading time. Including having to fight a 2nd Dan + 3rd Dan at the same time!! Got kicked to ****

In fact, I think my bro (the poster known as 'Rokkudan' = 6th Dan) is there on a training course right now!

Brilliant place - when it isn't pouring down with rain!
