Yes, it's been interesting how many times West Ham have had a spare man in a great position, has caused no end of problems
West Ham are by far the best team in the playoffs, as proven by their points tally. It would be an injustice if they didn't get promoted and I'm sure they will.
Love that from the commentators....'at his best Carlton Cole is one of the best centre forwards in the game...and I'm not just talking about the Championship'....hmmm
Well done Cardiff - sack a great manager in Dave Jones for failing in the play offs for 2 seasons and You're as good as out of them this year- truely awful
Still fancy the Bluebirds to stuff WH in the return leg. Fat Sam has looked and sounded unconvincing all season.
And what did he do to deserve this accolade?? He controlled the ball with his chest and passed the ball on....what a world class striker!
Sorry for the spelling mistake guys,I've corrected it now. Yes,Carlton Cole on his day is one the best CF's around and he could and should of been one of the best CF's in the Premier League, but I think he never fulfilled his potential. He has got pace, power,he can head the ball,he can hit the ball with loads of power. Some of the goals he scores are amazing, just look at his 2nd goal against Hull, superb control with his chest and great finish.Consistency, that's his weakness and he does miss some sitters at times, but this is what separates the best from the rest. There are very few CF's in the premier league with his physical attributes (Tall, quick, powerful).
It's also interesting that they can look to be so far on the front foot, but still not be especially confident in possession. Cardiff had chances despite the West Ham dominance.
I think West Ham need to chill on their hard tackling or they'll be seeing a few red cards next season. I don't like their direct way of football either.
