Well guys, I've tried and tried to get into Whiskey, and after like my 20th attempt, even though the sensation in my throat makes me gag a bit, I'm starting to appreciate the taste of Whiskey?

My dad keeps famous grouse in the alcohol cabinet.

I just wanna know, did any of you guys take a long time to enjoy whiskey? It's taking me a lot time to do so.
