That's all well and good but Whyte has preferential creditor status and holds the Floating Charge, I still don't see how he can be completely cut out of the equation.

As I said previously, I may be wrong though.

Think you are wrong, why would Whyte be preferential creditor. He can be cut out of the equation because of administration, maybe.

Which was why I was pondering the "incubator" newco. D&F sell the assets to the newco. The money goes to oldco to pay creditors. Whyte has preferred creditor status on oldco which has effectively **** all assets and his shares are worthless?

I dunno, I'm just thinking out loud. It would be sweet to see that ****, if not shafted, at least get **** all. No even his quid back.

D&F said Millers bid was the highest and was the only unconditional bid on the table. In light of that D&F weren't really going to do anything other than accept Miller's bid.

I don't know but from what i've read he holds the "Floating Charge", meaning that he owns the "Assets", namely Murray Park and Ibrox. I don't see how Miller can transfer what he does not own to another company ie a Newco.

Which of the following is right and which is wrong?

    - Rangers will not be able to play in Europe for three years minimum
    - Their European co-efficient will be reset to zero
    - They'll start next season with a points reduction of anything up to a third off of the points they garnered this season?

I appreciate it's not the rangers fans fault, nor the players, but it seems to me rangers are trying something which basically avoids them paying the penalty for tax evasion. So basically they are cheating the tax man twice!!!

Yeah...... but the taxman sees it as only as business.

I heard a story (that old chestnut) that the taxman starts with football (Arsenal already looked into, Rangers, the rest of the EPL, Championship etc are next). After that it's every sportsman/woman like golfers, tennis players, golfers etc.

The world of sport is about to be reamed by the HMRC seemingly.
