I haven't heard no-one mention this since the game on monday night, i've seen a couple of times and we are lucky that Welbeck has got a leg to stand on the way De Jong flung himself at the England international.
i remember that, you could hear his leg click, thankfully he's ok and has played a part in Newcastle being around the top 4.
if it was the other way around, we would never hear the end of it from the press and some rivals fans
De Jong is a disgrace to football, he should start playing Rugby.. players must be scared now that he might break their legs, the guy needs to quit and play sports like Rugby.. people say Paul Scholes is a bad tackler but he has never injured anyone though, when ever De Jong makes a tackle, we're always scared for the opposite player.

Scholes wasnt the best at tackling tbh. How though would you explain Gerrard and Carragher, both of which have intentionally set out to injure players aswell. Before you ask, I cannot defend rooneys actions at times.
let me ask you a question, Has Paul Scholes ever injured anyone? his tackles were dirty sometimes but has anyone been injured from it? answer it mate?
I dont think he has, hes usually late but not overly malicious. He has the odd one though where you have to ask yourself, was he using his well known reputation as a poor tackler to get away with that one.
So you have watched every scholes match and have studied the medical history of all the people he has tackled in his career. Impressive work
