"Neil Lennon admits he may have to sacrifice a big-name player to fund Celtic's UEFA Champions League bid next season." http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11781/7722487/Lennon-ready-to-cash-in
Apparently Ipswich Town have said that Daryl Murphy is unlikely to be taken back on loan next season. Could that be code for buying him?
i would sell ki and possibly samaras. if we could get 7 million (in total) for them both i think it would be good business. need a striker and a centre half. Is Forster staying?
Ah, I see Mr Lennon is being realistic when it comes to Celtic's finances - He knows he needs to sell before he can buy anyone to add further quality to the squad! An opinion I've seen on here a few times... Hooper is one player Celtic will be able to demand big bucks for ... Minimum of £5million (with add ons) would be expected to start the bidding - I'd sell hime for no less than £7m Ki could be sold but the most Celtic could command is £5million (in my honest opinion).
Rangers take shirt 12 off Lee Wallace and have retired it , in memory of the fans !!!! What is that all about ?????
Nice to see that Lenny and the Celtic board realise that you actually need money to buy players. A lesson for Dignity FC?
Id imagine it would be Charlie Mulgrew. People didn't believe me when I kept saying he would be a roaring success at Celtic.
The Trumpton Fire Brigade have already put in a bid: Pugh, Pugh, Charlie Mulgrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub. What a defence!
You'll not believe this but I have had that thrown in my face all my life, my name being Drew Drew............Drew.............Barney "No I havent heard that one before"
