What are peoples thoughts on Gary? I'm not a fan of twitter but he seems to be an active user. Takes quite a lot of stick too, especially after his Wenger impression.

I've always been suspicious of the overly clean cut TV personalities. You can usually bet they are up to some depraved acts off camera. The old rumour about Lineker was that he paid certain ladies to relieve themselves on a glass table whilst he lay under watching. The veracity of this story is debatable!

Personally I'd quite like for MOTD to switch things up a bit. The worrying thing about Lineker is that he is still young, and therefore conceivably could be on the telly for another 30 years.

I didn't like his Wenger impression, although I don't know it was done in spite. I'm also concerned about the colour he is turning- he seems to have picked up the same condition as Dale Winton and 'cheap as chips' David Dickinson.

I quite like him presenting MOTD. He has a dry sense of humour and his wry remarks towards Lawro and Hansen make me smirk.

I don't feel one way or another about him to be honest, he's just the presenter. Lawro and Hansen do most of the talking and analysing. A trained monkey could do Gary's job.

Hahaha no. I have far too much football knowledge to just sit back and present the show, but if one of Lawro or Hansen throws in the towel then my CV will be the first thrown into the ring <ok>

Hansen's immortal "you'll never win anything with kids" and your writing off of Pog do share alarming similarities :)

I'd rather you took Lawro's place, it'd be nice to hear a bit more said about Fulham rather than "they're pants away/great at home" or "Martin Jol used to manage Spurs, you know".

Lawro once said on TV that if he lived in London he'd be a Fulham fan. My brother knows him and says that behind the scenes he always has good words about Fulham. Great fans, great stadium and a well run club.

It would be good for pundits to say more about Fulham. Unfortunately Lawro is not the only one.

Myself and a friend of mine contemplated setting up a website with a podcast available on football criticism. Sort of like an amateur Sunday supplement as we're both very opinionated, I wanted to become a football journalist before I turned to film. Oliver Holt is my hero.
