The samples were not all that large, so it's all a bit hit and miss. But it does open up some interesting thoughts.
I think religious people can be quite selfish. Their main goal in life is to ensure they go to heaven/paradise.
An interesting idea and always good to see religeon treated with suspicion, but clearly these findings are just a load of made up cr@p based on the prejudices of the researchers, who don't really offer anything by way of evidence. Obviously, a lot of religeous people are selfish bastards, while there are plenty of kind and decent atheists, but who needs The Journal of Social Science to tell them that?
