I think you will find all todays savouries/snacks/chocolate bars are a shadow of what they were in my day...Wagon Wheels were the size of a wheel, Cadburys Creme eggs came from ostriches, not sparrows like they are now...and cheesy wotsits had to have a health warning....I think thats why my fingers are still orange....the only chocolate bar now worth having is the Wispa Gold limited edition...Mmmmmm

****ing quality thread. Wotists are the bollocks but monster munch win on both flavour and stickingtotheroofofthemouthness.

Trio (even though they seemingly don't exist anymore) over Penguin or Breakaway any day.

    **** off.

I'm not a fan of wotsits either, a bit boring for me. I'd rather have a proper bag of Seabrooks or Walkers, not one of the meaty flavours though, they're a complete lie.

Think about it, Roast Chicken Walkers, do they taste anything like an actual Roast Chicken? Course not.

The worst are those McCoy's one with really detailed names, things like 'Thai Sweet Chicken' or 'Flame-grilled steak'. They all taste the same and nothing like the gourmet food they try to sound like.

I think Kettle chips are my favourites at the moment, though I accept they are a completely different market to real crisps.

    Oh FFS. Penguins?

There are so many nice biscuit bar thingies that are better than penguins. Breakaway, Rocky, Fox's triple, etc.

Space raiders and meanies also have that stick to your teeth quality.

10p for a bag of meanies. I'd scrape together a quid for school tuck shop and buy ten bags. Some days if I was feeling a little adventurous, I'd split it and also get some chomps.

If you can't handle the truth well I'm very soz.

Penguins are old school cool hombre and that's a stone cold FACT.

I don't even know what a 'Fox's triple' is and if I'm being honest I don't want to know.

Sounds like something a bird would eat.

    Who remembers Texan Bars?

Real men's choc. Something ISTPLT would just look at and cry.

Man the **** up or ship out soldier.

I don't give a **** how old they are they taste of nothing. I'd genuinely rather not have an unhealthy treat in my packed lunch at all!

Yeah suppose. I don't think I would say 'packed lunch' if I was speaking out loud.

    Words genuinely fail me.

    This is akin to heresy.
