He is a fat annoying **** but when I do get the chance to hear or see his show it's hilarious. Listening to his show last week & the were saying 2/3's of N.I support punishment beatings. They had some poor doll on from the apprentice saying how horrifying that poll result was. Cue Billy, Declan, Big Tommy all phoning in and yelling at her over the radio "Wadda you know love, your nat even from here!" She brought unity to both communities.
Church is the worst part of Weddings - everyone spends the entire service looking forward to getting out and getting a beer. I'm getting married next month, outside in the Maltese sun by a registrar, with everyone having a beer in their hand during the ceremony
I care. This man got a pair of teenage siblings to sign a form meaning they would not tell the cops that they were sexualy abused. How is he in a position of power within the church? All you can do is take that the church accept that behaviour.
Sorry 2/3's of Nolan listeners. Probably about 90%, the other 10% are the joyriders and street punks that keep on getting their legs broke.
I don't mean to come across as a self loathing Catholic who protests louder than anyone else just to distance myself from something which I could be associated with - but why bother to fix one small part of an organisation which is horrendously flawed? It would be putting a plaster on a gaping wound. Sure sex abuse might stop, but we still have the likes of tens of thousands of people being infected by AIDs because of official church advice - while the Church is busy deciding whether or not to pull it's billion dollar investment fund from Rupert Murdoch's Newscorp (see today's Times).
Not me Jack. I'm not a fan of the law, any law, but Stevie Wonder can see what's happened here. Millions of lives ruined because the Catholic Church thought they were above the law. Truth is, they were above the law. In the south anyway. Absolutely disgusting episode, if I was a victim or one of my family was I would be in the 'Big Hoose' now.
Yeah and that's true but after the UN the Catholic Church are the biggest giver of aid in the world. They are changing but it will probably be 2034 when it happens.
I'm guessing Religious Catholic Education is fresher in my mind than yours, the official policy of the church is that Condoms are forbidden, I know because they made me do a GCSE in it. People are dying right now because of this Church advice - not only that but the Pope himself has suggested that Condoms actually contribute to HIV infections http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/mar/17/pope-africa-condoms-aids
