do not read the papers and begin to believe in their heads that the battle for 3rd is now won. I read with disdain on the internet and on newspapers, that Newcastle, Spuds and Chelski are fighting for
4th spot, we all know how quickly things can change in football, we cannot even begin to talk about mathematics, when there is about 9points to play for!

We need 2 wins from our last 2 games, Norwich (at home), looks easy on paper (so was Wigan) and WBA away (in what could be Woy's swansong).... The job is no where done yet.....

Dead right Omo, exactly what I said about 3 weeks ago when we were looking strong, and the pratt sirchesney came out with that drivel about winning the league. No sooner do we see the thin glimmer on daylight on the horizon than our players and manager come out with visions of wining something or other. I wish they woukld shut up and get on with it, and learn to crow about a job done instead of cheap talk that invariably preceeds complacent performances.

City have done it right - keep schtum and get on with it.

We could end up 4th and get dumped out by Chelsea wining in Munich, or continue with our usual marrogant, lazy season ending show and be in 5th.

The tw4tters who talk nonsense on that site amongst our players should have their accounts hacked and disabled.

On the subject of tw4tter, surely it disproves the old adage about 1 million monkeys typing away at a keyboard eventually coming up with something the Bard would have been proud of. Not even at 140 characters.

I'm not being funny Cb but what is the difference between a phychologist and a psychiatrist, I have always wondered.

A psychiatrist has a medical degree, psychologist doesnt. Psychiatrist can prescribe medication, psychologist cannot.

Yeah that's part of it. In addition psychologists usually support people without mental illness who may be going through some sort of life trauma or something along those lines. A psychiatrist deals with people with mental disorders who have been diagnosed with asperges, anxiety disorders, depression etc and usually then refer them to a CBT therapist who talks things out with them. Though both have degrees a psychologist basically more of a sociologist....in case you're wondering how I know about this believe it or not I have an anxiety disorder around large crowds though it's much better now days :)

I remember after we beat City, some folks on here were even talking about beating city for 2nd spot..... If Chelsea and Spuds win tonight, then the pressure is back on...... I read somewhere we have not a won game without Arteta this season, so we really have to do it for the next 2 games, as if we blow it this time, there will be no second chance!

There is absolutely no excuse for throwing it all away, win the next 2 games and 3rd spot is ours irrespective of what happens else where.... Just hope our usual end of season collapse does not happen this season.

I have an anxiety disorder with Wenger. It comes on whenever we have a match.
I keep wondering if a cure is in sight - but think it will be around for at least another 2 years !!! <laugh>

  9. Maybe less if we dont get CL. he said himself he would walk if he fails to uphold teh standards of the club.

  10. Bet you he fights his corner. I think we would have to have another meltdown like in March to September of last year for him to walk. I wish he would simply say I've done my best and now it's someone else's turn. He won't though since he has bought into the dummy CEO's dumb plan. Mind you 6.5+m of an annual salary would get most to buy into almost any plan

Back O/T, our players had better play the next two games as though their lives depended on it. Anything else simply won't do.

So it will come down to a fine margin whether we qualify or not. Will it be a case of not far off ? Just missing out ? or do you think we'll qualify ?

Most women think they are psychologists, which drives a lot of men to have to go and see psychiatrists <laugh>

Women know best. All women know that - its men that are too dim to recognise the superior sex.
The secret of a happy relationship with women? Men should say 'Yes dear'

  14. Well, I think Wenger will be disappointed that he is miles off challenging, but will stick around if he can make the CL. If he fails to make the CL, then I think he might walk. He did say he would step down if he failed to meet the standards of the club.

Let's be fair here, many of us thought Wenger had imploded and that this would be a complete disaster.

He has turned it around somewhat, and maybe if he'd managed to do that 3 weeks sooner we mights have had a good chance in a cup.

Even if he fails, he has shown that when he said that he could get top with this squad he has been proven right. Obviously still need to get over the line, and a lot of that is down to the players. Maybe having the pressure of Spurs/Newcastle ready to pounce will give the palyers the edge they need to perform.

Let him spend some money for say two years and then judge whether he has lost it.or not. I personally have faith in him to prove his doubters wrong
