Cheers chelsea fans it's nice to get this result after the game at SJP where we were fuming Luiz stayed on the pitch. I thought we were good for the win and what a ****ing goal. Bit angry at Mikel though, I think he's done Tiote intentionally there. Best of luck on Saturday and, if we finish 5th (or 3rd ) then in Munich too.
Cisse would cost 35million without a doubt and he's 27 and not English. 35million would be hard to turn down.
I actually reckon this is a quality result for Chelsea. I know it know means they have to win vs Munich but they can now leave the league and just play reserves in every league game to keep everyone fresh and fit for the final in munich not to mention the players now know they have to win in munich so it gets them raring to go even more. If chelsea had won they then would of had to play another 2 games playing as well as they can which will tire out players and could also risk injuries, it also now allows them to give that lookaka guy some game time in the premier league. Newcastle were absouletely superb tonight as they have been all season and that Cisse, wow just wow. Quality signing, i thought Newcastle were fools for getting rid of Hughton but Pardrew has took them to a whole new level. Credit to Torres as well, didn't score tonight due to lack of service but looks very very sharp and looked really up for it, looks like he has got his old mojo back
Bill is right, this could turn out ok still. Newcastle get 3rd,Arsenal get 4th and then we win it dumping Arsenal out.Only London team in the CL.Works for me.
I see why you would disagree as well bluemoon as it could go two ways in terms of the players mentality - A) The pressure could be a bad thing for the munich game as it could put too much pressure on the players and they might crack ( which i don't think they will ) B) The pressure could have a positive effect and make everyone raise their game even more than they would as they know they have to win. To be honest bluemoon losing tonight has just effectively made 2 league games irrevelant which = more time to rest and the chance to give younger / fringe players a chance. A lot more positive effects than negative effects
http://dailypost.com.ng/2012/05/02/...ampions-league-prophet-t-b-joshua-prophesies/ Have a read of that, i'm not for superstitions as i don't believe all that **** for one minute, although the thing i find interesting about that article is the guy made the prediction after AVB got sacked that chelsea would make the finals and win if JT wern't playing but lose if he was.... so it's weird JT gets sent off in the semi-final for a stupid idiotic thing which he'd never normally do. Maybe it is destiny, hopefully as i want you to win it obviously, ( even more now the germans are in the final ). Guess we're see on May. All the best for the liverpool game saturday
One thing's certain. When we play Meireles & Mikel together against decent sidesour attacking options are zilch! Mikel has been OK of late but him & Meireles together is a massive no-no. In fact Meireles with ANYONE is a massive no-no! Didn't we pay around 12 mil for that twat?
