Thanks, AG, that's great but it really does show why Autosport is worth nothing like the £112 a year it charges. The article is about as good as Andrew Benson or any number of internet forum contributors could come up with. It's cogent and well-enough written but doesn't explore the subject in anything like as much depth as we have on this thread. In fact, too many of those Autosport Plus articles sound like they've been written after (sometimes long after) the author has had a good old scour of internet forums.

Cost me 46 of your British pounds. I got it mostly for the stats, I'm sad like that :)
In all honestly most of the features I read on the site are from lower formula that I know far less about.

Ah... I did brief research before posting but I understood the £46 subscription to be for the print edition (I bought it religiously for about 15 years but found it less and less relevant) and the "Digital Edition" to be for online access (inc. Forix). It's a good job I didn't say how much I think a subscription is worth because it probably would have been around £46 but now I think £46 is way too high on principle.

What do you get for your your £46?

Aren't Formula 1 statistics the most widely published statistics of any in the Inner Rim?

Does Gary Anderson still write for them? Scarbs does some bits for them now, I think those two are well worth paying for. I don't subscribe though, I buy the magazines while the cars are being launched in winter and that's about it.

Nico Rosberg has once more been telling the media how the new tyres aren't any more of a problem than he'd expect from tyres, this time to Sky Sports F1 HD F1 News.

Interesting comments on the rain-hit Mugello test session, too:

Paul Hembery also denies that there's any pressure from the competitors to change anything.

    1. Not much, just Forix and the features. Some pretty good technical pieces now and again too, like the Scarbs stuff which isn't freely available.

    2. I've never come across anything even close to Forix before. I have no doubt that if you wished you could gather it all from around the web, but Im lazy ;)

A very useful tool Cosi, as you know, its been used for centuries to control those poor sods that have absolutely bugger all in this mortal existance, by persuading them all will be well and wonderful if they toe the line, some religions even promise scores of virgins will be yours in the after life, I don't know where one is likely to find several score of virgins nowadays, certainly not around where I live.

I won't become a believer because what they don't tell you is YES you get loads of virgins - but they are all over 80 years old.
Actually I'd rather have my pick of lots of non-virgins <laugh>

I fear something was lost in translation: my reference to "R e l i g o n" was a direct response to Ernie's spelling! - And nothing more!

Perhaps this is a good example of how other people's thinking can be manipulated through their response to what they believe the written word to mean?
